  They were very helpful and responsive during the first steps of the refinancing process, but it tapered off very quickly after that. They weren't communicative at all about the different things causing delays. My main point of contact was fired at some point and no one thought to inform us. They told us we were approved, then we waited for months with no word from anyone. As soon as they figured out we weren't approved and they wouldn't get our money, they pretty much dropped off the face of the planet. I had to call multiple people, multiple times just trying to get answers on why we weren't approved so I could understand our financial standing and the refinancing process in general. The answers I did get were riddled with bad attitude for some reason. The whole process lasted 6 months! Truly a terrible experience.

  I am absolutely TIRED of receiving the high amount of unsolicited mail that I do from this company. I am NOT interested in refinancing my home with you. STOP SENDING ME MAIL.

  Mark Peterson and his team went above and beyond while helping us navigate our refinance. We were able to close in about thirty days with an even lower interest rate than we thought initially! Mark was a shining example of what true customer service is all about. He was extremely responsive and helpful throughout the whole process! I would highly recommend working with them on your next real-estate transaction!

  I've worked with Western Mortgage Brokers one two occasions. My very first mortgage was with them, and then I refinanced with them a few years later to lower my interest rate by more than a whole percentage - saved me a TON in interest. Mark is absolutely the best to work with and his customer service is absolutely phenomenal.

  Just read a column about reverse mortgages, and since I've had such great experiences with the lenders at Western Mortgage Brokers, Inc., -- two home purchases and two refinances -- think I'll make time in the new year to get more information from them. I've felt totally secure in their knowledge and appreciated the way in which they communicated with me through out the process.

  If I could give a negative star I would. My experience with Casey at WMB was awful. There seemed to be no communication between anyone at this place. This was not my first rodeo, my second home purchase in the last 5 years. So I knew what to expect in the process but I had know idea what I was in for with Casey and his team. They lied about multiple things to me. Said I had to purchase a home insurance with a local agent ( I know this was incorrect). Gave me the wrong numbers on a a mortgage payment worksheet (had the taxes from a different house). Charged my credit card for a reinspect and put it in the closing worksheet ( I would have paid twice if I didn't notice). They sent emails to the wrong people (they thought my real estate agent was the escrow). And on the day when we were suppose to close Casey was out of town and when we called his office Laura said she had no idea we were closing said I needed to sign more papers (I had already signed them at the title company). There was a time where we could not even got ahold of Casey, my real estate agent called and emailed multiple times and then he would tell me no she only sent a email that I just now saw. Buy the end I just wanted this mess to be over. There are more things I could list but what's the point. This is meant to be a warning for other homebuyers. Please do your research before picking a mortgage broker. I did read reviews about them and WMB has no negative reviews. Is this because they threaten everyone that tried to write a negative review? Oh they are now threatening to sue my boyfriend for writing a negative review.

  Latoya! You really made everything go smoothly, I highly recommend you to anyone looking for a lender. The only person I will ever recommend at that. You helped since the moment we called you, you went above and beyond for my family and we can’t even thank you enough for everything you did. From start to finish I never once doubted you, you really nailed it when it came to helping us find a home and get us settled in. We give you an A+++.
