Matt Caballero4This is not a review for UFCU, generally, but specifically for Derion Jackson in the consumer loan department. Go back and look at a Google review from Ron Arron (3 years ago!) and it seems like Derion has been that dude. Professional and polite and so easy to work with. He answered all of my questions and never made me feel as if he had someone better to talk to or somewhere else he’d rather be. UFCU, you have an incredible team member. I would take my business to wherever Derion goes.

Not a simple world5As soon as I walked in I was greeted by two people and was assisted immediately upon letting them know what I need assistance with. Mario Orona was a radiant example of how a professional should treat a customer. I was in and out within 15 minutes and had all of my needs taken care of beyond my expectations. Tony Stark1Worst bank ever. I’ve had nothing but horrible experiences with this bank. I’ve been waiting over two weeks for my replacement credit card. When I called in to find where it was, i was told that it was never sent out, and blah, blah, blah. They said they would send it to me next day, at their cost, and guess what? Still haven’t received my credit card. Why do I have to wait 3-4 weeks to get a replacement credit card? And if you ever miss a payment their collections department will harass you, or interfere with your debit card transactions. This bank has showed me over the years, that they’re not responsible enough to handle my money.

Hannah1The people that work at UFCU (any branch I've visited and on the phone) have always been rude and unprofessional. I've been a member for over 5 years and the service continues to go downhill. They make everything more difficult than it needs to be. The debit cards that the print in the branches never work, if you call to get help with an issue or have a question each person has a different solution. There is no consistency so you never know which answer is the correct one. If you don't know what you're talking about, just say you don't know, don't make something up! I think I have had ONE positive interaction with the people that work for UFCU the whole time I've been a member.

Paul Johnson1This organization has gone downhill. Their "friendliness" is a mask. Using their facilities has become tedious and cumbersome. And it feels as if no one is in control, except the computer based system they have created. Its monstrous. And its too bad. They were great once upon a time.
