Rob Lindley, Jr.5Fence was installed at new home recently. Work was done in less than a day, installers were professional and polite. Communication was fantastic at every step in the process, starting with sales and scheduling all the way through installation. Will use Superior again in the future if needed. Highly recommend their services.

Lois Hibbert5Thank you so much Superior Fence for great service. Superior Fence and Rail of Lake County came and installed our fence for us. The process started October 13, 2018 and our fence was installed on December 6, 2018. It's not completely finished, but it's really no ones fault, just something that we all should have realized and didn't. Debbie was great to work with. There was a little back and forth with my HOA, but the permit was approved quite quickly. Saul's installation team was great. They were professional, respectful, and knowledgeable. Hoping the see them soon to complete the job. Superior, you have some great workers. Thank you so much.

jimmie48441My experience with your company has been less than favorable. I contacted your office on 1/24/2020 and spoke to a lady named Dawn who explained to me that she had the ability to give me an estimate over the phone if I could provide a copy of the land survey we had done on the house when we bought it and highlighted the area that would need fencing. I replied and waited, with no response. I finally called back to your office and spoke with Lacey who assured me that She received the information and that it was Dawns Birthday , and stated that Dawn had tried to return my call but my voicemail box was full ( this was not true, I had received a few voicemails from others after earlier that day, and she was out of town but was still answering emails. I waited again. I had to again call your office and spoke to Lacey who then tells me that the information I sent was not what was needed and asked for the measurements of the space for the fence to be installed. Lacey gave me a quote. I requested the quote to be sent in writing so I could use it to obtain financing. Lacey said that she would email it to me. I never received the email that was supposed to have been sent twice. I still had hope and again reached back to Lacey and scheduled an onsite estimate. We scheduled for 2/13/2020 from 11am/1pm for a lady named Debbie to come to our home and give us a written estimate. We received no phone call or visit from Debbie. This is very unprofessional and my experience with your company has left me both disappointed and dissatisfied with your company. I would definitely not recommend your company to anyone wishing to receive professional and courteous service.
Response from the ownerJimmie - perhaps we should look at this situation through more compassionate and appreciative lenses. It was actually Dawn who was going to see you yesterday but as the office informed you, she had to go into to emergency surgery but I am told your response was "you didn't care". Furthermore, fence companies need to visit sites and quote with the benefit of accurate lot surveys. Quoting over the phone is great for a ball-park figure but you should not buy a fence without having someone visually assess your property - it will only lead to issues during the installation process. If you like, we would be more than happy to reschedule an appointment with you but regardless of who you choose, we wish you all the best with your new fence.

Judy J5I love my vinyl fence! My dogs are contained and safe and we no longer have our neighbors looking into our yard. Makes sitting outside so much more enjoyable. Fence was installed promptly and professionally. All calls were returned in a timely manner and I am so happy I chose Superior Fence for my install. AAAAA+++++

Paul Leiner35 stars for fence materials and installation. Finished job is nicely done. 5 stars sales representative, Debbie. 3 stars for the very bumpy final stages leading up to installation being coordinated by the office staff. While the office staff are all very friendly, things could have been handled better. Maybe it was a fluke, but the negative situation at the end was strong enough to make this an overall 3 star experience for me. Also, FYI, leaving an online review gives an extended warranty on vinyl fencing.

Leighann Beckett2Out of all the good reviews for Superior Fence of Lake County, I’m left wondering how our experience with this the company has been so terrible. First and foremost the lack of communication with the office staff has been the worst I’ve probably ever dealt with. Installation took nearly 2 months from the date our contract was signed & submitted. Our HOA required approval & responded the same day the application was submitted, stating they needed the fence drawn out on the survey & resubmitted. I immediately responded & asked Superior’s office manager if this was something we needed to do.. she said “no, we will take care of this.” 2 weeks later I followed up with my HOA & they still had not received the revised application. Called Superior & the office manager said we were still waiting on the HOA when in fact it was their office causing the delay because they never resubmitted the survey with the plans as they said they were going to do. Next, we had some rather large & expensive plants near the property line. I was told to request Debbie come out & mark off for us where the fence would be going so that we could be sure to remove the needed brush prior to installation. I requested Debbie give me a heads up when she was coming so I could meet her as I had some questions.. instead she showed up unannounced when no one was home & places several flags (which ended up being off by 3 feet). She never once followed up or even let me know she came by & placed the flags. I called her a couple times & never received a call back. Our contract shows the fence going back 7 feet on both sides of the house yet one side is attached at the very back of the house. So I’m paying for 7 feet or fence that was never installed? I’ve asked the office to contact me to resolve (after Debbie came & placed the flags & before installation) never heard back from the office manager as I was promised. Lastly, the installers drilled a superior fence sign into the front of the fence, which I am very dissatisfied with. This was not on the estimate & nor was I ever asked if I wanted their sign drilled into my brand new vinyl panels. Our fence was a nearly 300 feet & we paid GOOD money for it. I went with superior based on reviews & a referral from an acquaintance. (We had a total of 3 estimates, one of which was several hundred dollars cheaper than Superior) Debbie was initially great & my husband said he felt Superior was the best choice but now I wish we hadn’t. The day of installation I called the morning of because I wanted to be there when the installers arrived & I was told they would be there between 10-11 so I left work to come meet with them. Sat home till 11:30.. they never showed until sometime after noon. (Not a huge deal, I understand things happen, but just to add to the list of disappointment) Our fence was finished in 3 days, which was expected due to the size of yard & all the recent rain but tomorrow will be a week since day 1 of installation & I’ve not received one call to follow up, never did any final walk throughs or inspections & here I am expressing my concerns on the web. While for the most part the fence is beautiful (my only reason for giving 2 stars) I’m extremely disappointed & would not recommend this office to anyone. I have reached out via email, being that is usually the only way I can get a hold of anyone at Superior, so I hope someone will do their diligence & follow up to correct the issues so that we do not need to take further action.

Manny Bonet5Debbie was great with communication and attention to detail. They had a change in office personnel which really slowed down the process and required me to make many phone calls but at no fault of Katrina who hit the ground running once she started working on my project. Make sure you watch the crew because I caught them using only a half of a bag of cement per post instead of the agreed upon full bag (60lbs).
