  Full disclosure, I am in the industry, and I have a lot of people I know and trust that I could turn to for a mortgage. Somerset had the best pricing for my loan and won the deal. The team at Somerset Lending (Brad, Amanda, Laura, James, Carrie) are absolutely fantastic. They by far exceeded my already high expectations. The communication was superb, the underwriter conditions were handled promptly and we closed in amazing time. I truly appreciate how smooth they made this transaction. Each one of them is a master of their craft, I want to specifically thank Amanda for listening to my rant and keeping me focused. Thank you!

  I cannot thank Brad & his team enough for the refi of my mortgage! They saved me money, lowered my payment, the entire process was smooth and we closed very quickly!   We would like to thank Brad and everyone at Somerset Lending Corp so much for helping us obtain the mortgage that allowed us to buy our dream house. Although we’ve been impressed with Brad’s work in the past, he really outdid himself this time. As he’s done in the past with our refinancing, Brad streamlined the loan process and paperwork. He gave us several options to meet our needs, and he worked to get us the most competitive rate. We really appreciated his extra efforts to keep our rate locked in when we faced delays beyond our control. And, the closing was painless. Working with Brad and everyone at Somerset Lending Corp, we quickly saw how knowledgeable they are. But, more importantly, they emphasize customer service and take extra measures to make the process as easy as possible. Brad is very honest and did a great job of keeping us informed throughout the process. Brad was also flexible, available at all hours and responsive to our inquiries (and, unfortunately, with this house there were several along the way). He helped us identify creative solutions to several problems we encountered. Not only are we pleased with the end result of our financial transaction, but Brad also connected with us on a personal level and made us feel like your top priority. It was refreshing to work with someone who is so professional and is such a good person. We would also like to thank Kim for her help as well. She is always pleasant and clearly works hard to close the deal. Both of Brad and Kim worked tirelessly on our behalf, and we would not have our house without the both of them.   This was our first experience looking for financing for a condo. Brad and his group were recommended to us and from the first call to Brad, we were taken care of professionally and courteously. He was patient in explaining the whole process and he kept us updated constantly--even on the weekends! He was very responsive and answered calls, texts and emails promptly. We had some personal difficulties come up and he worked with us to make sure that everything went smoothly. His associate, Amanda, was also wonderful to work with and she, too, was courteous, professional and extremely helpful.   I wish there were more than 5 STARS to select!!! Brad was VERY responsive - even received acknowledgement emails on the weekends. Brad and his team are very knowledgeable and extremely helpful navigating through financing. The Follow Through and attention to details set them apart from anyone else that we have ever worked with.... HIGHLY Recommend - in fact we have recommend Brad to many friends and family and they feel the same way.

  We were referred to Somerset Lending when faced with an extremely short timeline to get approved and closed. They were able to meet this deadline when many other said it could not be done. Their communication was precise, friendly and always helpful. The execution on their end was flawless and was largely responsible for giving us a chance to close our difficult home purchase deal. We cannot thank them enough for helping us get into our dream home and would recommend them to anyone, whether you are faced with a complicated, unusual deal like ours or not!

  First let me start by saying my credit score was 728 at the on start of this with my FICO score being 695. In order to finance my HELOC they needed my score over 700. In order to accomplish this feat two credit cards with a balance of $36 on one and 712 on another needed to be paid off. It was sent by a screenshot with little or no information the wrong account number. They would do nothing to assist in getting the correct information, the accounts clearly were showing paid off, multiple screenshots emails and documents that were sent to them seem to do little except irritate me. James apparently is very liberal and Cindy the person I was working with is a conservative.. why do I know this because they seem to have some infighting between each other that somehow I got caught up in. James was a condescending person all the way across the board who offered little or no help as he was not interested in Cindy's clients. Cindy had nothing but excuses for James actions. I would not recommend this company for anything. Go someplace else.

  I recently went through Somerset Lending for a mortgage on my first home. They were very patient with me and explained everything through the process. The staff at Somerset is very professional and organized. Overall, I was pleased with the experience and would go to Somerset again for financing needs.
