  We have refinanced our home in the past. We have never ever had such a positive experience. Northern Lakes Mortgage makes your refinance so incredibly easy and fast. I literally had one or two documents to show. I could have closed within a week or two, but had to wait for personal reasons. I found them when they reached out to me with a phone call. In the times we live it, I know it is hard to trust someone you have never met, much less they are in Chicago and we are in Colorado. Trust them they are safe, fast and honest. Joseph is such a kind and pleasant person to work with. He answered all our questions. Unlike other refinance companies once the closing is over, they forget you. No, Joseph has checked in with me multiple times since closing. Amazing company, you cannot go wrong with Northern Lakes Mortgage.

  We had the best experience working with Joseph at Northern Lakes Mortgage. He was responsive, kept in touch with us, answered our questions, and was very professional. We did not have a good experience with our prior mortgage company and we’re pleasantly surprised by the care Joseph put into his work and making sure we had all we needed to get our refinance completed in a timely manner and efficiently.   Nic and the team at Northern Lakes are a fraud. I refinanced my home in CO in March and was promised x amount of dollars back to me. This was important in my decision to refinance with this company. I only received 1/2. I sent e mails almost daily and rarely got a response and when I did it was all lies. “I’m working on it”, “I have a meeting for it tomorrow”, “I’ll follow up by the end of the week.” I anticipate a small claims case and strongly suggest you do not do business with them. They are prompt to respond to get your business but once they have it - it is one disaster after another. I was assured that all I had to do to setup an escrow account was “press a button”. I was grossly mislead and am still fighting to have an escrow account. The lack of professionalism and integrity is appalling. SAVE YOURSELF AND GO WITH SOMEONE REPUTABLE AND HONEST. Do not do what I did and trust them - it has been and utter nightmare.
