Navy Federal Credit Union Reviews

Aks D1I went to open an account at this bank NAVY FEDERAL CREDIT UNION and was very disappointed, the first impression was awful, the woman at the front desk was rude, was not a good service. They should have more pleasant people who know how to welcome new clients, the attitude of the person at the front desk was cold and aggressive and the person who opened the account was disinterested and did not explain anything about the bank. I hope they train the people who provide service to this bank , their service and attitude is horrible

LASAUNDRIA EGGLESTON2Over all i been banking there for 6 years but the customer service at this location is terrible compared to the Harker heights location. Who hires tellers that are too lazy to take 3.00 in change, i already had it counted out and seperated, just deposit it, Everbody always talking about a so called coin shortage but you to lazy to take some quarters, nickles, and dimes that couldnt be rolled because I didnt have enough nickels to rolled into 2.oo or enough dimes to roll into 5.00. Thats just sheer laziness, and i would never experience that at the Harker Heights Branch. Never coming to this Branch again.

Ari Spilo5I guess I've been lucky in my experiences here. That or at least some of the negative reviews are fake. I've been here a number of times; one was, of course, setting up an account, one was looking to different services they offered, one was getting a car loan, and the various times I needed to deposit or withdraw money. I really haven't had an issue here. Not with depositing money, not with checking or stopping transactions, not with loans, nothing. At one point I came in with cash I'd been storing away in an effort to save. After talking with the front desk and one of the bank tellers, I walked away with a newly opened CD. The people I've worked with, at the front desk and the tellers, were all polite, quick and informative. I've been very happy with Navy Federal, especially with this car loan. Getting a loan with them was not difficult in any way. I got one car loan in 2018 with 4.5% interest and now that loan is paid off. Now I have a new car loan with them for 2.94% interest and that's without having a perfect credit score. When they told me the interest rate for the new car, I double-checked because I thought I heard them wrong. Needless to say, I was excited and now have a '22 SUV. I'm really super happy with them; they really always seem to be so helpful and supportive. Their interests rates are insanely good for a car loan (in my experience, at least), and I just... I'm super happy with them. That's been my experience with them from day one. So thank you all. I really do appreciate you folks.

Alex5Great location. I went in to pick up an auto loan check and an associate named Geneva was very helpful, she even helped me again after I came back into the branch right before closing time.

LaShaundra Parker1OMG ! I’m so disappointed in Navy Federal. Saturday Morning at 4am I called a representative who sounded sleep gone tell me it cost $20 for them to stop payment on a company who’s steady pulling from my account which has nothing in it. I been getting charged $29 a day until I get paid. & then the representative proceeded to say.. Monday you’ll be charged again $29. So.. as of now.. these vendors can pull what want.. I’m canceling my account. To lose a valued customer over $100.. So be it !

Hunter Biden1They don't know how their own paperwork should be filled out and will end up costing you more.

Lakeisha Finch1Terrible experience and extra frustrating at this location. The only job the teller Christina had was to withdraw money from the correct account, but that did not happen. It might seem minor to some, but when your account is set up a certain way and for specific reasons in my case it’s a major problem and an inconvenience. When I went to the branch today to see how we can fix the situation since that account was not set up or meant for cash withdrawals I encountered a rude teller named Tanika. As I was leaving I asked, “What was the name of the lady who did my deposit Christina or Lavern?” Without even checking and with a nasty attitude she said, “Christina doesn’t work here, but there is a Lavern”. Apparently Tanika and Christina must be friends for her to lie to a customer and say somebody doesn’t work there especially since it had already been confirmed that she does. Tanika was not aware I had already called customer service around 730am to get the name of the person who completed the transaction so I can make a complaint. I was only double checking to make sure I’m holding the right person accountable. Lavern did complete a transaction for me, but it was prior to the mess up Christina did and on top of that Lavern did exactly what she was suppose to do which was deposit and withdraw to and from the correct accounts. I called to confirm what Tanika said about Christina not working there and like I already established she lied and jeopardized the integrity of the branch. She also has the capabilities to see that Christina is the one that made the mistake as well as her id number. I will not be coming to this branch anymore since Tanika has lied to me and shown me there is no integrity in this location. My recommendation would be to hold Tanika accountable for lying and putting this branch’s reputation at risk and to retrain Christina. I’ll be going to the Harker Heights location from here on out. It’s a few extra miles, but what I can say is they haven’t made it an inconvenience for me, haven’t lied, and make transactions to and from the correct accounts.

lexi “Lex”1Awful person. Just took a picture of the lobby hours and this lady came out and asked if I needed something. I told her I'm taking a picture of the lobby hours. She then went on saying "you need it for any reason?, Just taking it to have it?" Did I ask you? You have the wrong hours on Google.

Gus Burris1The worst credit union around or banking business in the area. Again very slow , the worst online reviews and they still do nothing to change it. Very slow in drive thru almost 10min a transaction, poor. Cove manager is the worst, i won't go back ever to cove. Hopefully harker heights is better or I'll change.
