  I needed to deposit a check and get some money back in return, something I've done many times at other branches. Not only would they not let me get any money up front, they wanted to put a 5 day hold on the check. I went to the more competent folks at the Annandale branch and not only did they make about $240 available on deposit, the hold is only 2 days. If possible, avoid this location and go to the branch in Annandale or Ballston Sq. for peace of mind that they are doing everything they can to actually help you

  I'm brand new to Navy Federal credit union and I had to go I today to have a document notarized. Mrs. Hong was awesome and even the young lady at the counter that pointed me in the right direction, so i was directed to check in with the greeter. This review would have been 5 stars, but the cold welcome, unenthusiastic exchange and animatronic actions and unwelcoming attitude of Stephen ( the greeter) is the only reason that this is not a five star review. And for it being my first time going into a branch, that really made me feel like never coming back to that particular branch.

  Be very careful when exchanging in big sum of money, cause somehow im always short a $100, not $80 or $50. Most of their branches dont have a line except for the 1 in Burke.

  This is the worst navy federal branch to go to. The tellers do not have any customer service. The management is extremely rude. This is so unfortunate to have people like this destroying an amazing company. The employees do not try to help you with any issues. I'd recommend going to the branch in Alexandria. They are always friendly and out going. Just to give you an idea this branch is making me friend another bank for my buiness because of how terrible they are.

  costumer service here is not the best, transactions that have taken less than 10 minutes at other branches, require the approval of the MOD - but only at this branch..

  I enjoy going to any and all Navy Federal Credit Union locations because I've consistently had very good experiences. There hasn't been a time when the lines were extremely long for me. And customer service is outstanding that I usually like making deposits in person for that face-to-face interaction. Everyone is friendly, gracious, kind, and courteous--you're always greeted with a smile, making your day that much more pleasant. Transactions are quick and smooth, I'm in and out in 5 min. And Navy Federal is just a great bank overall, I switched my savings and checking account because there were no fees for me! Highly recommend!

  I did not receive service at this branch specifically and this is a review of NFCU phone customer service. NFCU has the quickest response rate. I have account and BOA, Chase, USAA, and Welsfargo and I assured NFCU phone line wait time was the shortest among them! I was so impressed I did not have to wait forever to speak to a person! Their customer reps were very helpful and resolved my issue within 10 minutes! Thank you again for valuing your customer's time!

  Best Navy Federal branch I’ve been to. Kamran, especially, was a pleasure to deal with. He helped us with more than we intended to do when we walked in the door, yet we still spent less time in the bank than we anticipated. Banks are usually a chore, but Navy Fed & Kamran made it a pleasure!

  This is the slowest office I’ve ever utilized to send funds via a wire. They had approx. eight people waiting to agents. Of the four agents, one went on break and another was training other people only leaving two to service their clients. I waited over 30 minutes to order yo send a wire. I informed the receptionist about the long wait, who was not friendly or smiled at me upon my entry and asked for assistance. She made too many excuses about the slow place and she did nothing to help. She didn’t bother to ask the branch manger to assist. I will never utilize this location again. The agent at the handicap window was not friendly. She didn’t bother to say hello, failed to welcome as “Sir,” when everyone else did the same to other clients. Kamran, was the one shining star during my visit to this location. He was extremely helpful, respectful, friendly and customer oriented.
