  Once again, Lizzie Lu's exceeded our expectations, which were very high based on last year's stay at the Starfish Cottage! We stayed at the Sunset Beach House for a month this year. The home is located right across the street from the beach which made access a dream. We enjoyed watching the sunsets from the balcony and the sound of the waves crashing on the sand. As with all Lizzie Lu houses, it was immaculate and everything was in great working order. Ben and Keren have spoiled us and we find it very hard to stay in any other house when we travel. They have set the bar for how great it can be. Thanks again!!!!

  This made our 4th year to take all our kids and grandkids to Lizzie Lu's Island Retreat. Our children grew up going to a beach in the Carolina's every summer for 25 years and did not want to change but one day I decided to book with Ben at Lizzie Lu's instead. They loved it and never want to change back to the other place. The safe neighborhood feeling of Holmes Beach and our proximity to the beach itself are a big part of it but the resort like accommodations at Lizzie Lu's makes the complete package. The houses are lovely and homey and appointed with everything you need. All you need is a swimsuit and groceries! The beds and linens are of the highest quality and we sleep better there than at home. The decorating is lovely in each home and we've been in 6 different ones over the years we've been here and each one is unique and spectacular. We love the beach but the beautifully landscaped pool area, of which each home has it's own, is so nice to chill around after a day at the beach. Our grandkids practically lived it in this year. Cannot say enough about this lovely home away from home and the wonderful hosts, Ben and Keren. Anything we need is just a text away and Ben or one of this people is there to take care of it. Bikes, sunshades, gem golf carts, he has it all and top notch of everything, that's the way he rolls. So glad we found this place and look forward to going back each year just like a kid looks forward to Christmas!

  I love Lizzie Lu's! My husband and I have been coming to Anna Maria for over 20 years. At one point we owned a house but decided it was cheaper and easier just to rent at Lizzie Lu's. Ben is wonderful, very accommodating and there for you 24/7. I've stayed at several of the properties and they are all beautiful and very well maintained. I almost hate giving 5 stars because everyone is going to want to stay here!

  The owners Ben and Jill make it a 5 star experience. We have been vacationing at Anna Maria for past 4 years, since we discovered it. This year we decided to try out Bluefin Cottage at Lizzie Lu's. The cottage was adorable, extremely well kept, thought out very well, and spotless - and closest to the beach we had rented - just few steps. Sadly the red tide arrived as we were starting our vacation and not even being aware of such an event, we had no idea it could be so bad. Ben was extremely understanding and let us stay as long as we needed to decide what to do and refunded our money for nights we did not stay. This high level of meticulous care of the property and renters from Ben is not something we saw when we moved on for few nights to another property in the panhandle. We will definitely be back at Lizzie Lu's and highly recommend this property with wonderful owners.

  Loved my second stay in The Coral Cabana with Lizzie Lu, Ben and the entire crew are awesome. From arrival to departure it's just seamless. The home are are perfect from the decor to the beach chair, wagon and umbrellas heck you even have a cooler! Everything is just perfect in your private relaxing backyard, the pool area makes you feel like your in the jungle! Our home was a few steps from the beach! I hesitate to brag too much because these properties are just perfect and I don't want the secret out! Be sure to rent the bikes and cruise around the Island. Can't wait to get back to my little paradise.

  Incredible week spent at Lizzie Lu's Southern Belle property. Everything was organized, clean, comfortable and extremely well appointed. The grandchildren loved the pool under the home, offering shade. The beach is a very short walk. The décor, special touches, appliances and Ben's attention to detail were all first rate!

  We really enjoyed our stay at Citrus Cottage. Great location on beach access street 100 yards from sand. Easy stroll or bike ride to Pine Ave shops & restaurants. This cottage has been perfectly remodeled w/ spacious floor plan, pool and outdoor space. Wonderful privacy due to building layout and corner lot. We had neighbors w/ kids and never knew they were there. Loved the outdoor showers in the evenings. Also, the management team facilitated our unexpected-early arrival at 3 am and made it happen! Impressive! Thank you for allowing us to stay at Citrus Cottage. We had a fabulous vacation and will be back soon :>) Donnie, Melissa, Josh & Kyra Knoxville, TN (Go Vols)

  Ben and Lizzie Lu are the best. We returned for the 6th year in a row and had a marvelous stay. Ben pays attention to every detail and responds with a smile and positive attitude to every question. The home (Island Dance) was lovely and met all our needs. The views from the balconies of the beach and the sunsets were outstanding.

  This has been our seventh trip staying at a Lizzie Lu's property and we wouldn't have any other way !. The homes are ready and decorated and well equipped and having your own pool is even better. Every trip is better and better and Ben and Karen never disappoint. This trip w ha a gem car and it was fun just using it to go about the island. We stayed in the Sunset house with friends and every room is quiet and private and really no one disturbs anyone else when up and about . Always create great memories here and this was no exception . Turned a milestone birthday into a great adventure and Ben helped friends make it even more special with setting some surprises up and suggestions . WONDERFUL TRIP AND PLACE TO STAY .   My family and I stayed at Sunset Beach House and had an incredible time. The location could not be better - just steps to the beach. The house came equipped with everything we needed, including beach towels, beach chairs and even a cart to tote everything down to the beach! The home is absolutely gorgeous. If I had to give one bit of criticism, it would be that the master bedrooms do not have dressers, so we didn't really have a lot of storage for clothes. But, all of the positives of this rental greatly outweighed that slight inconvenience. We will definitely be back!
