  The rental was beautiful and well equipped on the beach. We had a couple of minor issues upon arrival and Anna Maria Vacations Maintenance immediately called us back and talked us through fixing the problem. That quick service meant a lot. The communication from booking to arrival was very good. Using Email and their app are both very informative but you can also get a live body if you do need one thru chat or phone. I would definitely use them again.

  We spent a wonderful week at Coconut Cottage Unit 2 with our son and his family. It was a perfect size, the kids enjoyed the pool, and we found the location most convenient. Although it was near a busy intersection we did not notice any noise when in the cottage. The cottage was very clean and well supplied. We would definitely rent it again.

  Working with Anna Maria Vacations was very easy. The pictures of their properties are comprehensive and very accurate, and the reservation system was up-to-date, which was refreshing because some of the other sites I went to were showing out of date bookings. We booked online and had no problems at all. There was just enough communication before we got to the island so we felt confident about our rental. We stayed at Egrets Landing and it was so nice inside. It looks and feels like a brand new property. The decor is very nice and beachy, but not overwhelming. The walk to the beach was no problem at all and the pool was perfect. The island trolley was very convenient, we took it almost daily. The beach was awesome, the best sand! Not a ton of waves so perfect for the kids. Everyone in the town was super friendly. We very much enjoyed Anna Maria Island and working with Anna Maria Vacations was a breeze! Just a few small suggestions. 1.Beach towels would have been nice, we bought cheap ones but it seems like something that should come standard. 2. It would have been nice if the home manual included an island map. 3.Beach toys and a beach wagon, this is clearly a luxury extra but I saw some other families with the beach wagon thing and it looked very convenient--would have been a nice touch. 4. Videos and games--again this is a luxury extra but the rental we stayed in did not have any. And I wasn't able to buy a movie off pay per view either, would have been nice but not a huge deal.

  We had a wonderful experience with Anna Maria vacations. It was an easy process form start to finish. We were able to browse the rentals that met our criteria, find the perfect rental, and book it very easily. The rental itself was amazing and just as the pictures described. House was immaculate upon arrival and the cleaning manager and pool guy even came by the first day to make sure things were up to par. I would definitely recommend Anna Maria vacations to anyone and hope to return soon.

  My husband, our two children ages 9 & 10 and I spent a wonderful week on Holmes Beach in April. The condo was gorgeous and everything that it was advertised to be. Modern, well equipped and the location was amazing. Anna Maria Vacations was an easy company to deal with and everything went smoothly. We'll be using their services again for sure.

  These are my husband's comments about The Beach Front on AMI: "My wonderful bride of almost 17 years and I just returned from a much awaited week of vacation on AMI in a comfortable homey condo right on the beach. We were joined by my wife's parents who loved the experience as much as we did. The well-appointed condo supplied everything except groceries, which were available right around the corner at Publix. Even though our condo had five units, we enjoyed privacy because of the building layout. Bring your bathing suits, food (and maybe some libation) and you too can enjoy spectacular sunsets from a spacious deck just a few feet from the Gulf of Mexico. We hope to return next year!" I couldn't have said it any better, other than the staff at Anna Maria Vacations were wonderful to work with since I had numerous questions before our arrival. They answered each one very timely and professionally!

  Renters BEWARE. Just returned from a week at Anna Maria. While the town is amazing, Anna Maria Vacation Rentals is doing bad business. I am compelled to let other families know so their long awaited vacation doesn't end up like ours. Here is what you can expect: -Locking mechanisms out to pool area did NOT work. (So SCARY for all mothers out there). We had to purchase alarms for the doors to ensure our children's safety and use string to hold other doors closed. As a Floridian mother, one can appreciate the dangers associated with poor maintenance of locking mechanisms by the pool area. - Arrived to find cigarette butts in the pool that was covered on the bottom with dirt. We bought our own shock (and waited 24 hrs) before letting our children swim. - Missing blinds on Windows (had to put a towel over it) -Air conditioning that is not on when you arrive (took almost 24 hours to cool the house to 76 degrees as the house was old with poor insulation) - Sliding glass door missing locks - Broken fan in family room - Dirty floors (my toddlers feet were literally black from the dirt on the floors) - Missing remote for TV - Lack of hot water (in upstairs bathroom) - DIRTY pool deck (black residue covering) - No more than 6 towels for a place that claims to sleep 10 (and no other smaller towels) - misleading pictures (the pictures of the house showcased and what the house truly looked like differed greatly - they take great angled pictures from many years ago) Even more disappointing, I had to spend three days on the phone arguing with the staff (Rob and his female supervisor) about how these issues were issues. I was talked down to and never once apologized. I was even told by Rob that he would only consider my issues if I could meet him at the house on Monday (who wants to be responsible to meet the maintenance man on your vacation). Then after I agreed to (I was not happy), I got a call from his supervisor sharing that Rob was off on Mondays so she wasn't sure why he agreed to that. She, by the way, is the main problem for this company - I can imagine if she is the supervisor, why her staff acts and works the way they do. Rather than apologizing and creating a plan with me on addressing these issues with grace, I was given every excuse. Some of these included: "Well it's Florida, its feels like 100 degrees out" "Well. We had a rainstorm so that's why the deck is dirty" "We may not be able to fix your fans because we don't carry those in stock" "Well you are the only ones to report these issues so how would I know" It is unacceptable that a property management company allows a family to enter a property under these conditions. It is not my responsibility to report these issues or meet your maintenance man - that's what the owners of these houses are counting on Anna Maria Vacation Rentals to do. I think it's important to note that, after much arguing and grief, they did send out folks to fix the property (we were already 3 days into our 7 days). 1/2 vacation lost and never called back to check on the work or offer any additional services/compensation. Or even a simple apology. To all those hard working families out there.... There are many options to enjoy the island for $3,600. A house under management by these folks is NOT it (especially those on Tarpon Street). My family and I have rented many houses in the past - I have NEVER seen anything like this and never had to resort to reviewed in the past. I only wish they would have been more accountable when first called.

  As always, the rental experience and the actual house were 5-star. We've rented with Anna Maria Vacations 4 times now, and every rental was flawless. In addition, their website is the BEST for AMI rentals, allowing you to see the whole portfolio of homes for full months at a time (with rates!) to quickly see what's available with the features you want (pool, bedrooms, location/city, etc). It really is an awesome experience all around!

  We just got home after spending two weeks at Blue Water Beach Club. Always a favorite place to stay. My mom started going there 30 years ago and I have been going for 20. Would never miss it. It's right on the beach, a quaint two story hotel with lots of old Florida charm - not a sterile bright and shiny condo. The staff is very friendly and we look forward to seeing them each year. Can't wait until next year!

  My family and I (5) all stayed at Island Escape in Holmes Beach. Perfectly located near the beach (1 block ) but far enough away from the traffic. Check-in was super easy. As soon as we entered the unit we detected a problem, notified maintenance and they were there in no time. The unit was spacious, clean and bright, and the beds comfortable. The private pool area is AWESOME! with part sun and part shade and best of all NO BUGS! . If you choose this unit be sure to bring a dustpan if you want to sweep, laundry detergent to wash your towels as these are not exchanged for clean ones during your stay, and mixing bowls and bakeware if you are planning on cooking while you stay. Otherwise, it was well stocked in the kitchen. It was a great stay despite the Tropical Storm that blew through and we would not hesitate to pick this location again.
