  Like other reviewers, I also had an issue with Jacquette Foster. According to the person I spoke to on the phone today, she is no longer an employee there. I was told during my appointment that my state tax debt would be taken care of and paid out of my federal return along with the filing fees, and that the remainder would be forwarded to me. I recently got a bill for the state tax, plus interest. I understand now that it is not Liberty Tax's policy to handle state tax payments that way. I was told that since there was no way to prove that I had been misled by Jacquette Foster, there was nothing they could do to reimburse me for the interest the tax debt accrued over the last year. It is understandable that they only have my side of the story, so they can't reimburse me. However, the other reviews detailing similar issues with the same employee validate my experience and lend credibility to my story. I would be more likely to return here in the future if they had been more willing to consider reimbursing me given how many customers have had a negative experience here due to that employee. I am adding my experience so that anyone else who was misled by Jacquette Foster has more evidence that they are telling the truth.

  Dinah I am sorry to hear about this, the miss communication should have not happened and should have been addressed as well. I know this response is VERY late, however we are under new management and ownership. The new management team is very customer service driven, I am going to have someone reach out to you and make this right.

  Went in today 2/26/2020. Great professional service, took care of me in great timing. advised me of everything step by step. Great mannerism from walking thru the door until all was complete and even on the way out. Made me feel welcome from start to finish. answered all questions that I had ,and provided me with great expectations. I would like to send an special thank you to Jacquetta Lee who took care of me on today for her amazing service and keeping me informed on everything throughout the process.
