  My mother left me a very large collection of coins, I had them separated and the folks were taken time to review the treasure of coins. Made an honest assessment and were patient and very friendly.

  I have been to HCG a few times and have always been treated like a valued customer. I had questions about the value of some coins my grandfather left me and was educated about coin grading, spot prices, how much over spot they would pay me for my coins. At no time was I pressured into selling. A first class group!

  Love the selection and the staff (especially Phoebe, hope I spelled that right). Prices are just a little too steep, eslecially to a low budget collector who can only spend a little here and there. I know every business is in business to make money but there are folks out there who run coin shops that really care about people who love the hobby and make collecting a little easier on the pocket book for them. Having said that, it is an awesome place to sell, trade, visit in general and buy if you have the cash to spend.

  One of the best coin shops.. Anybody that is talking down on them obviously does not know Anything about coins They are overly fair on prices For buying and selling their coins. Just keep the negativity away That's why they've been in business for as long as they have been Because they know what they're talking about and what they're doing

  This place is great! Very honest and great prices. The staff are very knowledgeable and I enjoy shopping here for bullion and some coins. Everyone here seems to enjoy what they are doing and it makes for a good atmosphere. After checking most of the other places in town, this is the only place worth going to in my opinion.

  I have used Hallenbeck for years. The service is good and the prices are fair. Yes sometimes there are allot of customers in there. But when it is your turn, you get their full attention. I would not go anywhere else for coins or precious metals.

  Best place in town to buy or sell, period. I've been to many, many other shops in Denver and not one of them even comes close to Hallenbeck. If your planning on selling your pm's, do it here, they pay over spot which most places do not. As far as selling coins, they may not give you what you are asking or believe your coin to be worth, but this is true of most shops as they still have to turn around and sell it too. Still the best place to sell bullion though, for the reason as outlined above.

  myself and my mother brought a large collection of coins to the gallery to sell. we had the pleasure of dealing with tom. tom was very straight forward with his pricing, pointing out items of greater value mixed in the collection. tom spent over 3 hours with us and didnt rush us or seem impatient one bit. tom made sure to take his time and go over every detail and made sure we were comfortable with every aspect of the transaction. i would suggest to anyone that you go here for any of your coin related needs.
