James Movius1Used to be School Employee's Credit Union (I was with them since '96), then became Inspirus CU, now Gesa, and the change has been awful. Customer service and online tools useless, and they hit you with every fine they can imagine. I left for BECU, and they are excellent. Do not join, and if you are an unfortunate member, leave now.

Smiley World1Cant make payments from app unless you add another bank acct…. They charge you to make a payment over the phone…..website payments only allow the exact amount of the loan…..you have to go in to make a higher payment…..customer service is a joke and they’re extremely unprepared for customer questions and concerns🤷🏾♂️🤷🏾♂️

Susan Dryer1Terrible decline since Inspirus, and before that School Employees Credit Union. Nearly impossible getting joint owners on my accounts. Took multiple tries, mail delivered but never found in office, finally two trips to their representative in Safeway in Seattle. Now multiple attempts to get the bill pay feature to hold the correct address. Keeps reverting to wrong info in wrong fields. They say it's a system issue. Basically impossible to use bill pay to pay my utilities bill. Never happened with Inspirus. I'm looking into a better credit union in Washington.

Matthew Unruh1Even though my account balances have all been zero for months, Gesa is refusing to close my account. I have left numerous messages and complaints and they always say they are "submitting a request".

Brad Yasuda1I've been a member of this credit union since it was the Schools Employee Credit Union maybe 15 years ago. The service, online portal and accessibility to any members in Western Washington has severely gone downhill. I had to call in to pay off my loan because the online portal wasn't accepting payment. Come to find out the online portal doesn't tell you the proper amount that you owe. You need to call in to make the final payment since "our system doesn't account for interest" What a joke. Sheryl Sanders1Sayonara Gesa: they are that bad. I have been spending over a day of my time transferring multiple accounts, including several estate accounts and joint accounts over to a new bank. This included the time to hook up all my automatic payments. It took me forever-but it is feeling so worth it. I am a busy person, a mom with a 50 hour week job, and this is the last thing I want to do with my time: what would I rather do, spend time with my family or with this bank? They have sold out their customer base in Seattle - now retired professors and teachers who need to navigate Gesa's system, for years had to drive to Lynnwood and now don't have Saturday service. Don't waste your time and keep your money safe: put it somewhere else.

Nick Edney1Super disappointed with Gesa since Inspirus was taken over (merged). The service has gone from being helpful, prompt and personalized to the typical bank phone ping pong. It turns out that Gesa home loans are processed by a company called Dovenmuehle mortgages, based out of Illinois with hours finishing at 2PT. The reps that answer often answer with the wrong bank name, as they service many companies. Most have no idea what's going on. What a disappointment when compared to Inspirus

Judah Jackson4The customer service is always great, the representatives are courteous, informative, and patient. I was promptly approved for a auto loan with a low interest rate! Inspirus Credit union has been a blessing by helping me get financially re-established :) !

Bi-Lan Chiong5Andrew of the GESA branch at the Roosevelt Safeway made a difficult and terrible hacking experience go away faster. I am back on my banking feet, there are only a few details left to deal with. Andrew cancelled the compromised accounts and gave me new accounts and a new debit card very quickly.

Ron Gangnes5The representatives at this branch are top notch, caring and professional. Since the bank has merged with other institutions is has been less than stellar and these representatives are the saving grace.
