*If negative stars was option, I would have chosen that. My bill, that I have never seen from the hospital, was sent to Financial Corporation of America. I gave them a call and while trying to explain the reasoning behind my call, I get cut off by the agent. She was rude and not willing to listen. I ask how to pay and she states I could pay over the phone. I say I will pay online and then I get hung up on. After this awkward call, I began to wonder if this is all a scam attempt to get my money. I will definitely do my own research calling the hospital billing department to see if they forwarded my bill to a shady collections agency.

I took my daughter to have a test completed at the lab at the local hospital. We don't have insurance so I was required to pay for the test upfront. I paid the expense and received a receipt, and the test was completed. A month later I received a bill stating that we owed for the test. The test description was incorrect and listed as charges for something my daughter did not have completed. I called Financial Corporation of America and explained the bill was incorrect and that my daughter never had any procedures for what was listed on the bill. Also, I explained the test she did have completed was paid for in advance because we did not have insurance. The representative said they do not have access to records to show what the charges are for and I should email my dispute. I then emailed my dispute on May 3, 2019. I never heard from them so I called on May 9th. After many calls and emails, and faxed disputes they finally came to the conclusion they made a mistake. I called them about 7 times, emailed, twice and faxed twice. No one was listening to what I was saying so I had to keep following up. This is one of the most unorganized and worst customer service company's I have ever seen. Everyone I spoke to with the exception of one individual was polite, however, it seemed they had no clue what was going on. Overall I blame Hunt Regional Healthcare because they are the ones who initially made the mistake and then did not provide the company handling the collection with any information. The created two accounts for my daughter and posted the money to the wrong account. Overall this was a frustrating and annoying experience and I hope they read this. Lack of communication between Hunt Regional Healthcare and Financial Corp of America is terrible.

They tried to call about some bill that the hospital messed up on. Yet when you call them back you are on hold for over an hour or they hang up on you. If they are trying to collect debt you would think people could answer the phones once in a while. Ended up calling the hospitals billing Dept directly to get the issue resolved and they still keep trying to call. If I could give them a negative star I would.

Hospital wasn't willing to work within my budget. I couldn't pay what they needed so they sent it to collections (even though I still paid them monthly just not the amount they wanted). FCA was willing to work with what I could do and willing to cut deals. I couldn't initially take advantage of the deals but come tax time they offered 50% off and I was able to get it taken care of. They did mess up a little and didn't fully record the payment so attempted to collect on an amount that was paid but a phone call resolved the issue.

If I could give this place negative stars I would. My medical bills were returned to the hospital on no fault of my own, but a postal error. They automatically sent them to collections when they were returned. I actually received the 3rd one with the entire amount due. When trying to contact this company on the due date of my medical bills I was hung up on. Terrible customer service.

This stupid company has been calling my cell phone for over 6 months, I have repeatedly explained that I am NOT the person that they are looking for, nor do I know that person!! I have also informed them that my number is on the DO NOT CALL list & NOT to call me again!! They have totally ignored my request & have continued to try to call me at all hours of the day & evening, I have now placed them on call block & I am contacting an attorney to file a harassment suit against them, I have also filed a claim against them with the National Do NOT Call website!! If they continue to harass me, I may have to drive down to Austin Tx & pay them a visit in person & convince them that I will NOT be harassed any more!!

I tried three times, and even with a Power of Attorney, they will not give me information about money my mother supposedly owes them. According to the corporation who originally brought FCOA into the mix, my mom's account should have been settled.

Worst customer service or follow-through. I had a collection item negatively reported to my credit report in error and constant communication and attempts to get this item repaired over the past year have proven futile. I am now having to get legal representation involved since I can get no resolution or assistance from this company.

They began calling me just two weeks after I awoke from a coma, nobody was willing to tell me why they were calling or who they represented. They couldn't even tell me what kind of business they were without me giving my full name and address, who honestly just gives out their info based on a phone call?? Screw these people and their incredibly rude customer service people.

This company calls you with an automated system and leaves a message to return the call to an 800 number. When we try the 800 number, it rings twice, picks up and no one answers. A collection agency that doesn't know how to work their phones?
