  Went to this location to pay a loan from another CU that is affiliated, While I was there I was told all I needed was the account number. When I got my account number and went back the next day the teller said we can not do that and said the best thing to do is to do nothing. I think you guys should train your employees on policy so everyone is on the same page and your customer service skills could also stand to improve.

  If you depend on a debit card, then don't bank here. I have had my magnetic strip fail on two new cards. I know that is not the fault of the credit union, but it is their fault that it takes 2 weeks to get a new one. I lost my card and have been waiting over two weeks to get it and it looks like I will be waiting longer since it was never even sent out. At this point, it would be easier to move my accounts entirely instead of having to switch all of my automatic payments to a different card and then have to switch them back again.

  This is a great credit Union, one of 3 where we are members. Even though we no longer live in Kentwood, we keep the checking account for the 7% interest on the 1st $2000 in checking.

  By far the worst banking institution my wife and I have ever worked with. They have always been very snooty, condescending and unhelpful. We have one loan through CWCU, and it will be our absolute last. We are unable to pay our bill online or over the phone unless we have a check (they won't use debit cards), they won't give you any account information over the phone, they told us for the longest time the were not a part of a credit union co-op (where you can use a network of credit unions). When we actually go in, they are rude, unhelpful and it is a generally poor experience that isn't geared towards customer service
