  We shopped around for title insurance for a piece of land in the area and Tim was extremely helpful. In the end, we had to go with our agent’s title company, which was entirely our fault as buyers for not shopping around earlier (our closing date was only two days away). Clear Title would have been the best choice hands down had we been able to push our closing date a couple days. Will certainly call them in confidence first for our next settlement.   If there was a way to give less then 1 star I'd do it! They never returned my calls, were unable to provide me answers when I called and again never called me back to provide answers. It seemed "I don't know" was suppose to be enough. They were rude and demanding when I called them and not respectful or professional during any interaction. At one point they emailed me, I called the office within 10 minutes of them sending the email but they were unable to take my call so I left a msg. I got another email a few hours after asking why I had not reaponded. At another point I had called twice and send an email to make sure they had received documents and got a one word text in reply. I guess I should have been thankful since that was the only time they ever actually replied to me.

  I just bought my first home in Woodstock with the help of Bill Tribus, who took the stress and uncertainty out of all of the paperwork for my mortgage. He explained everythng to me and made sure that I was comfortable with my buying process. Everything was done in a smooth and pleasant transition and I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a new home.

  Terrible experience. The day before closing, clear title made a $19,000 mistake. We had confirmed on three separate occasions that the numbers they had were 100% correct. We were unable to change our down payment because of the timeframe due to their negligence. The owner gave little compensation for a huge mistake. Take caution.
