  This place is terrible. I got a money order to apply for an apartment and ended up not applying there so I brought it back to cash it out. It seems like the staff have no idea how to do this. It took over 30 minutes to give me my money. They made me apply and fill out a form with my social and employment information address phone number and cell pho e provider just to cash this thing and because they could tell this bothered me they gave me a paper of what check city does with my information and in order for them to NOT SHARE my information with other companies I have to call a hotline and mail in a form. Which doesn't guarantee them not sharing my information. Also they charged me a fee after all this to cash a check I got from them. After taking so long. This place is absolutely ridiculous. I had to literally do nothing other than hand them my cash to make the money order and to just get my money back, I had to give them literally all my information and take a picture. This is absolutely unacceptable. 35 minutes in this place total to get my money.

  We're sorry that you had a negative experience at this location. We understand your frustration and will do things to make this a quicker process for you in the future. We do need to get your information when cashing a check because unlike banks, we don't hold your money until the check clears, we let you walk out with the cash in hand.   I went to 4 other places to try to cash in my check and they all couldn’t do it then I went to check city and meet a wonderful lady ms.carol and she helped me get the money I worked so hard for😁
