Billy Smith4Just fill me when are you going to open the branch in Leawood Ks ?I have better experience filling up the coffers at the branch then wiring . Follow the state rules on mask, run with a Skeleton crew, have someone to take money for the accounts so they can invest and have a few in the back to help with new accounts or services needed. This is really not too complicated. Called the number put me in the system ,I have already done that ,I thought the number was something different . Update : I like how easy it was to get funds out of the account !!Add a Star

Roger Harrison1I opened account online on a Thursday. I was able to transfer funds into the account. I bought a stock with $500 I deposited. The account was put on hold for fraud on Friday afternoon. The money has cleared my bank account. Today is Tuesday and I am unable to access my account still and my stock is steady falling per day and no one can give me an answer or an estimated time of resolution. I would never recommend them to anyone. People were nice, but couldn't answer anything. And the people with answers are conveniently unable to talk.
Response from the ownerHi Roger. We’re sorry for the inconvenience, but please call us so we can address this for you: 800-435-4000.

Kyle Mueller1Please be aware, any type of account opened from this location is subject to a hard pull on anyone's credit report. They do not offer to provide any sort of reversal or fix for this issue even if it is minor. Any type of account, including a simple non-overdraft checking.
Response from the ownerHi Kyle. Thank you for taking the time to explain your negative experience. We will pass your feedback to the Overland Park branch manager.

Alex Franklin1I am baffled at the experience I have had starting my first brokerage account with Charles Schwab. Started my account no problem- $700 transferred into my account in the snap of a finger. Made my first buy in and invested in a stock to just see what the process was like. I make my purchase and am given a confirmation- yay. Then I am immediately locked out of my investment and my balance as I watch as my stocks rise and fall without me being able to do a thing.. I chat in to find out why I've been locked out and receive almost no help. Chat in several more days running and am generally told that , yes, we let you make your $700 transfer and investment into stock, and then placed a hold on your account that is "standard," I was just victim to "poor timing." I conference in my bank and the SCHWAB rep several times over and they simply disagree completely with each other and they both end the day putting the responsibility on me to find a solution and now I'm still left here with NO access to my $700 investment and no resolution in sight. I would highly discourage anyone looking for an online brokerage to steer clear of Charles Schwab. The multiple reps I encountered even told me they felt poorly at how I was being locked out of my own account AFTER you let me make that investment?... I have yet to get a answer on how that was allowed to occur, only offered free trades here and there for inconvenience -- are you stupid? I can't even make trades b/c I can't access my money!!? Unbeleivable.
Response from the ownerHi Alex. We’re sorry to hear about your poor experience. We’d like a chance to try and assist with resolving the issues you have had with us. Please give us a call at 800-435-4000.

Diana C5I was having multiple issues with the customer service line so I decided to go to the branch for help instead. I could not have been more pleasantly surprised with the service I received there. The two gentlemen in the front took the time to figure out what I needed and were genuinely concerned I was taken care of. There was even a line behind me and they still helped me out without trying to rush me or make me feel unimportant!

Mary Hamilton5Their service is always helpful and the branch is gorgeous and modern! Matt does a great job making sure that people get the answers they need. He always offers me something to drink every time I come in as well.
