  Brian Kempf and his team at George Mason Mortgage are excellent. At some point during our transaction, I felt it necessary to call Brian and ask “what’s the catch?” because Brian’s rates, responsiveness, and mortgage terms were unbeatable. No other lender was even close - they simply could not compete with Brian. Brian is assisted with his transactions by Danielle, another consummate professional. Danielle often worked late hours to get important documents to the right people before the weekend. Danielle was also extremely responsive and knowledgeable - she was always willing to take our calls and respond to our emails. Home-sellers in the Northern Virginia area know and respect George Mason Mortgage and I now know why, first hand. You are making yourself a stronger buyer when you use George Mason Mortgage and especially if you work with Brian and Danielle.   Brian Kempf is the most honest and straight-forward loan originator I've ever worked with. Over the past year, Brian has been my point man for 2 loans - investment and construction. Throughout the entire process, my family really felt like Brian was on our side. Brian is your 'inside man' for the bank job. Responsiveness and timeliness are very important when applying for mortgages and Brian never let us down. Rates were competitive with our credit union. We have another loan to workup next year and we'll be reaching out to Brian again.

  Brian is a prime example of someone who contradicts the old saying "If it seems too good to be true, it probably is." With most lenders, you either get a great rate and horrendous service, or you find someone who provides great service but their rates aren't even competitive. Brian offers the incredibly rare pairing of both tremendous service AND low rates. I not only use him for my own home purchases, but recommend him to every single client I work with, knowing he will provide a level of service and quality that will bring us repeat business for years to come.

  I was recommended to Brian by my realtor. Halfway through the process of closing on my home with Brian I realized I never negotiated anything on my mortgage. I just followed the process. As I began to ask questions and look at the rates and all the other things that are in the contract I realized there was not one thing I could change or do better as Brian already gave me the best deal possible without even asking. Brian is very honest and helpful in this home buying process. Would definitely recommend.
