  I went to BMO Harris Bank today to get a cashier's check withdrawal from my account to buy a car. The withdrawal emptied much of my savings account. The male teller was very cold and rude. I told him "now i guess I'll have to start saving to build up it up again". He totally ignored me. He then said sharply "you realize there is a $10 fee for a cashier's check." He was acting like i should feel guilty for removing my money. At one point he needed a pen and i slid the one i had been using to him. He pushed it back at me and said, "that belongs in there", motioning to a cup. I rarely go to the bank - do most things online - but this is the second situation of bad customer service there.

  Closed during business hours. We rushed in from out of town to get here to handle a 5 minute transaction, and the place is closed up. So don't ever count on this location to be open during it's posted business hours. Even as I post this they should be open.

  Walked in on a relatively slow afternoon, was the only customer there. The employees seemed like they didn't want to be there, unfriendly, uninspiring. Fortunately, i usually do most of my banking online, so won't have to deal with them in the near future, but likely will find another bank anyway.

  If I am being honest I have not lied when I say they have great customer service. However banking with them I would not suggest. I have been with a couple other banks and I have never experienced as much trouble as I have with them. They would randomly lock my card every couple months, delayed purchases would go out days after I had actually purchased. I would never suggest to bank with BMO to anyone. I myself am looking for a new bank.

  The staff has always been very helpful and taking the time to help me open up new accounts to stop payments or answer questions
