Nightmare. I whole heartedly believe the other negative reviews about this "place". I started a refinance loan process with Bank Of Texas in Allen. Processing fee, underwriting fee, miscellaneous fees, Origination fees, I made the concession and was even going to proceed forward with Bank of Texas. Lender/broker just stopped answering my inquiries and texts in the loan application process. I do not enjoy writing a negative review. The lack of communication is unequalled. I found myself Googling answers for the questions I needed answers to. I have a good income and good credit. Days would pass, and I would even put "please reply" in my email subject lines. So, I made it clear I was going elsewhere else for a refinance loan. I find out now, I had a hard inquiry on my credit yesterday. Stay way, way far away form this "bank". I am getting emails from them as if they are moving forward. What is happening at this bank? Not only do they not reply to my requests, they do not speak with each other. You can discount this review if you wish. You surely will look back and say "why did I not take the advice"? The owner either knows what is going on and just does not care, or has no idea of the lack of organization and professionalism. I'm at a point I am concerned they have my personal information now. I am starting over somewhere else now. Because they decided on the hard inquiry, I am now on the clock with my credit score. Live and learn. It was a horrible decision to have anything to do with Bank of Texas. This is what I learned.

Quick, efficient and friendly. Its often empty of other patrons when I go but there's always an active attendant ready to greet and assist me any time I need to drop in for something. They are always well informed and quick to complete any banking needs I have had.

      Response from the owner

Thank you so much for the valuable feedback and taking the time to let us know about your experience. We hope to be serving your banking needs for many years to come!

I went to just get change for a 100.00 bill and they would not give me change because I did not have a account there. Isn’t that what a bank is for ? The teller was very rude about it. I would never recommend this place to anyone .

Too bad you can't give less than 1 star. I have been with this bank since I moved here after the 1st 5 years it became so much worse. Class Action lawsuit paid me over $200 in overdraft that should have never been done. In the past 2 months they have stolen over $172.50 in overdraft charges on balances that were still in pending status

      Response from the owner

Hi M, I'm sorry to hear that you were not satisfied with your experience in our banking center. If you would like to discuss the issue further, please send us an email at [email protected] with your name, phone number and a good time to contact you.
