Whoever is running this branch needs to learn service skills and look for a new industry to work in. Exactly 8 days ago I was visiting my hometown of Chattanooga for Christmas and I visited this branch on Dec 29th to deposit an international check. As I was waiting in line a nicely dressed banker approached me and asked if he could help me with the deposit, I told him my international check didn't have a routing number and I had just left Wells Fargo and they told me they could gladly accept my check, they would send it to their collections dept and it would take 4-6 wks to process. I thought, let me check with BOA first as I assumed they would be better. Boy was I WRONG! The guy told me to wait in line for the teller that she would know how to process my check. Well she didn't. She accepted my check, deposited it as a NORMAL check (by the way with no account number or routing number) not international and I left. The check was made out to me and IN DOLLARS. The next day, the check was rejected and NO one ever called me, emailed me or text me! Since Dec 30th I have called your branch at least 10 times a day and not one answer yet! The 800 number has told me all sorts of random answers. Not one person in Bank of America, knows how to process a bank draft/ cashiers check from another country. But yet banks like Regions, Suntrust and Wells Fargo know exactly how to process it bc my 3 siblings all had their checks processed properly. I should have deposited with Wells Fargo but I trusted BOA. So far, my $4000 has been rejected, no notification to date from anyone at Bank of America and SUPPOSEDLY my check is in the mail USPS (of all ways)to my home in Florida. Bottom line, ANSWER YOUR PHONES and train your tellers to know how to process an international check and not just stick to the small town, closed minded mentality of not knowing how to go outside of the little box they work within. I'll be moving my 3 Bank of America accounts to another more reputable bank soon.

Bank of America is a crooked institution. They issued a check and then charged to cash it. I could have taken it to Walmart and paid a fee, i took it to the issuing bank because its a note from their bank and should be treated as cash to them, but they're greedy, so instead I waited for them to open on my way to work, only to fine out, people are better off doing their banking at a super market.

      Response from the owner

Literally one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had at a bank. 2 employees just chitchatting in the back room. 1 walking around doing nothing. And one actually doing there job at the only open window plus doing the drive through. I mean seriously?!? Ridiculous. It’s 4:30 on a Friday. There should be more tellers working.

Hate to leave bad reviews but this branch consistently has the worst customer service/wait lines. I'm a patient person but each time I come in to this branch it is terrible! It's time they compromise on saving labor and spend the money to hire more employees. BOFA just lost a customer.

Not a customer BUT cashing a payroll check from there and they must first verify the check by a manager who tries to get you to open an account with them. The kicker is after all that, they charge you $8 to cash a check drawn on a account through them!! WOW!! $8 to cash a check that I worked for!!!!

Really poor service, very difficult to get on the phone and uncooperative for anything but the simplest of requests. I would consider using a smaller, more friendly bank or branch. Kept me on hold for 15 minutes after I asked to speak to a manager.
