I came to this brach to open a new account for a family member, she welcomed us with a friendly smile and positive attitude. We did not have an appointment and she went out of her way to take care of us. douglas melanson2Not a very friendly place. 1 teller. Big line got an attitude. For not making out a deposit slip . I have to wait 7 days for a Massachusetts check to clear. Not happy about that.

Kate Szekely1Let me start by saying that I understand the tellers cannot do much to help when a card is stuck in an ATM. But for the doors to be locked 15 minutes before closing time, and for not a single one of the 5 employees inside to get up to even assist on the correct actions to take is rude and unprofessional. Other customers were also trying to get in the actual bank before closing and they all slid right out the side door early in front of everyone’s eyes without a single acknowledgement. Once I got through to someone on the phone who was very helpful, she noted the ATM has been down for days and other cards are actually in there as well. Not a sign in sight about it being out of service….worst customer service I have ever come across at a Bank of America. 0/5 if I could.

Dj Naar5I scheduled appointment to open new accounts and consultation for business accounts (urgently needs) for today in 440 boylston st back bay. I was 15 minutes early, when I get in the bank the receptionist told me sorry we have a problem with our system it's not possible for today this and this. So why you guys didn't notify me, I drove almost one hour and half with traffic to be on time. I asked her to contact others locations to see if they can help me to open my account because I really need for today, the lady I didn't get her name (ChineseorJapanese 'Asia') was so nice and helpful. She referred me to Saugus location in Broadway. Once there, I was served by beautiful and very professional person Louisyana, I think it's her name. Very satisfied and happy with her service. Maija Erickson1This review is for Amanda Nunez who racially profiled my fiance on two separate occasions this past week. My fiance went here over the weekend to transfer money for a business he purchased. After making inappropriate and unprofessional comments such as "this is a large sum of money, where did you get it from?" and questioning him about the source of the funds, Amanda informed him he would need to wait 3 days to transfer the funds because the account was too new. Fine. When he went back today, Amanda continued to give him the runaround, and kept questioning him about where he got the money, treating him like some sort of criminal. She refused to transfer the funds! He went to another location in Melrose and the transaction was completed in a few minutes with no questioning or problems. Amanda - learn to treat customers of color with respect. As a bank teller your job is to provide customer service not to "investigate" where their funds came from.

D S5Amanda was great, thank you! After being treated rudely at the Lynnfield branch, I took my chance and headed to Saugus for a very time-sensitive request. Though busy with customers and short-staffed, she worked me in to take care of my needs. BofA, take heed! You would have lost a customer today, due to the Lynnfield offices lack of customer service and dismissive attitude. Amanda single-handedly prevented that!!!
