  I used to have an account through this bank but closed it when I turned 18 to switch to a credit union. However, I sold my car and had a surplus check that I needed to cash. I went to the bank that the dealership used in order to cash it immediately because I was leaving for Vegas for my 21st and planned to have some of that extra money available. I even opened an account to make it easier and they had all my old information saved from the account that was closed for 3 years. The manager talked me into depositing the check instead and it turned out to be exactly what i was trying to avoid. They held the entirety of the check until the day after my birthday (4/26) and now that it has cleared they placed a deposit hold on it that they refuse to lift until tomorrow at 9am. Called them to try to get it lifted as my research showed that most other banks would do quite easily, only to be told that there is nothing they can do. Now I’m in Vegas and out of money when I have a $3K check that has cleared and deposited into my account but the bank decided to mot release.Additionally, here I am 14 days later STILL with no bank card, When I called and asked them to send it to the bank instead so I can go pick it up they said “that’s something we just can’t do”. What kind of bank not only doesn’t issue temporary cards but won’t even disperse a debit card on site!? I will now be closing my account through this bank and copy and pasting this review to every Bank of America in my area as I have dealt with corporate and they are this terrible and I want to warn everyone in my area about this terrible bank!!

  Lobby has been randomly closed for about two weeks now, with no explanation to be found for any account holders. With the downtown branch shut down permanently, anyone in North Spokane has to travel all the way across the city just to access simple banking services now. No info at all on when this branch will reopen, or why they've chosen to burden their patrons like this.

  One of if not the most corrupt bank in the US. They’ll close your credit cards for no reason then steal your reward points. Good luck with their incompetent customer service. They’ll also “upgrade” your account without your permission then start charging you fees and refuse to refund them. Not to mention if you have an ACH come out the same day as a deposit you’ll still pay on an overdraft fee. Stay away from these scammers at all cost. they’re worse than Wells Fargo.. They’ll be in the news eventually for all of this and their CEOs will get a bonus.

  Ugh. This bank is the absolute worst. I deposited a check via atm from my employer, a nationwide company, and the check was drawn from BOA. They shredded it! They said it wasn’t valid and now I have to get a new check. They can’t tell me why they won’t cash their own check. Worst customer service ever. Now I have to get a new check. Horrible horrible

  Hate hate hate this bank!! I’ve been with them for six months, every time I call hoping to speak with someone all the lines are busy and I’m hung up on. Second, I have gone in multiple times to cash a larger check, they always tell me no because it isn’t a Bank of America check yet anybody else can case a check here and only be charged and eight dollar fee so why is it impossible for me, Third, anytime I deposit a check they put a massive hold (1-3 weeks) on my money and claim they don’t know why it happens like that. Finally the line inside is always super long (the tellers are extremely slow in doing their job) but they are always trying to sell you something & it’s so pushy. I will be switching banks once again. Wouldn’t recommend this bank to my worst enemy!

  The worst bank ive ever had you have to jump through 20 hoops just to tell them to put the money into your account you deposited like 3 days ago because their so lazy and backed up that they just act like i didnt deposit a check then you go call them five times and they hang up on you everytime. Id trust some homeless dude downtown to hold on to my money before i trust these crooks.

  Every time I go in on the 3rd to get some of my money there is a line out the door 1 lady asking people in line what they are there for instead of just opening a 3rd teller station makes me wanna switch banks .prob. gonna happen sooner than later lol

  Have been trying to call at least three times a day for 2 weeks NO answers each time I live 3 hours away and need to contact this bank directly this is so frustrating.

  Teller was great. Very slow service. Only had one Teller working and three other employees standing behind her. 30 minutes before closing the manager tells the Teller to close her drawer even though there us a line out the door. Management needs to learn what customer service is.
