Walked all the way to this location to deposit a check. Bank teller Loures took one look at me and profiled me to tell me she was not going to deposit it, even when I had all the proof necessary. So now I have to walk back home and try to stay safe with this check instead of being deposited safely in the bank

I would do 0 stars if I could. They have the longest lines and one person working. The line barely moved in 30 minutes. There is only one ATM inside and only one outside. The bakers are just seeing there while there is so many people waiting.

      Response from the owner

Hi Jessie. We understand your frustration. You may be able to save time by using an ATM or our mobile app. Signing up is simple: https://www.bankofamerica.com/online-banking/mobile-and-online-banking-features/overview/. ^ines

I am very pleased with my experience at this branch. In spite of having been understaffed, they were VERY accommodating and respectful with EVERY aspect of their assistance in helping me to do what I went for! I strongly recommend going here and working with the lovely staff! Thanks B-of-A for everything!!!

      Response from the owner

Hi Jane. Thank you for choosing Bank of America for your financial needs. We’re glad to hear the process went smoothly. Thanks for taking the time to let us know. ^jazmin

Very disappointed! 4pm Friday and all doors are locked & no one I'm sight. No signs with hours of operation, phone numbers, nearest open locations, etc are posted anywhere. If this is purely an ATM location, signage stating this would be very much appreciated. The website is unclear about this and I've now, apparently, missed the operating hours of any locations.

      Response from the owner

We are doing our best to remain open to serve our clients while implementing changes within our financial centers to follow CDC and government guidelines. As such, some locations may be either temporarily closed or operating at adjusted hours. If you’d like to visit an alternative financial center, please click the following link for the most up-to-date info on our centers: http://go.bofa.com/Locator. Also, when new information is available regarding openings and hours, the website will be updated.

This branch is terribly understaffed. The staff are wonderful but the wait times are horrendous. Sometimes it takes 45 minutes just to do a simple transaction with a teller.

Went to this branch to deposit a check into my checking account. The teller looked at the check and told me he could not deposit the check until I told him what I was going to do with the money. That's a new one?? I explained the check was from my insurance company and was properly endorsed by myself and my mortgage holder to deposit and pay contractors for repairs on my home. I had the paperwork sent with the check if he needed to see it. He again stated he could not deposit a check that large. He again asked how long the funds would remain in my account and what they were for. The check was for $15K. I've never heard of such a thing. I stated again I needed to deposit the check which had the proper endorsements and was accompanied by the documentation supporting the process for the payment and it was from the insurance company to pay for home repairs. I was told again that the amount was too high for him to deposit. He then said he would have to get a manager. I said "yes, please do that" since we were not getting anywhere with the deposit process and this was taking quite a bit of time. He then stated I had no right to talk to him that way and he wasn't required to do anything to help me and he had a bunch of names for someone like me. I spoke with the Bank Manager who clearly didn't care how I was treated or if I bank with them. What horrible customer service. I thought I was supposed to a "Preferred Services Client". I promptly called Bank of America CS and was told there should have been no issue depositing the check and to file a formal complaint regarding the issue which is what I intend to do.

Ok, putting terrible past experiences of my and more than a few other of my loved ones continuous financial rip-offs and embarrassingly bad customer service by a few BofA branches aside; I have to vent about the last few days of mind-blowing experiences while trying to make a cash deposit of $175.00 into BofA account. I live Downtown San Diego so on Friday at 11:00am I walked to nearby BofA, it’s closed. Later, I Googled 3 more branches Downtown, went, but all are “closed” or “temporarily closed.” So on Monday at 11:00am, I waited in line over 40 minutes at BofA at 737 University Ave in San Diego, where their teller told me “they can not take cash deposits, only checks or a Money Order that I could get from another bank down the street, not here.” WHAT??? “This is a bank right”? I said as I stormed off furious. An American bank that won’t take American cash dollars??? They can take paper checks or Money Orders though which are paper, right? What’s the difference?? I just want to give them cash$ but they make it IMPOSSIBLE!!! Bankers BEWARE!!!

Cashier station has a long line almost all the time. Service is not organized well, every client takes very long time to serve. Needs improvement for sure.

If you do not have $1500 in your account they will charge you $12 a month. Highway robbery. Trash panda.

B of A cancelled my ATM card while I was traveling, with no notification - the card just stopped working. I had told them in advance of my travels. I went into this branch as soon as they opened, only to be told the staff was fully booked for the entire day and no other customers could be helped until a later day. So I tried calling and that system is understaffed as well, you can only leave a phone number and hope someone calls back. I also have an account at Wells Fargo and their Hillcrest branch is far more pleasant and helpful.
