  I was concerned that a payment to my Advantis Visa had not been credited. Kelly was VERY helpful and we soon had the issue resolved. My experience with Advantis at Belmont has always been positive. Good Work!

  Needed to resolve a paperwork issue with my account. Went to the branch as issue required signatures and official photo IDs, etc. There were half a dozen teller windows open & busy with another half a dozen people in line. I was told that in order to meet with an account officer I would have to wait in line for teller....to put my name down on a list....to wait for an account officer? Seriously? I have to wait in the teller line, with all of the folks doing banking transactions....to get my name on a list? For goodness sakes, put in a "take a number" kiosk in the lobby. Or a podium with a notepad and pen and people can sign in like waiting for a table at a busy restaurant. This is not rocket science. I went to the downtown branch where I was helped expeditiously.

  They cut off funds more than once when I visited Canada (and because I didn't remember my member number) I literally had no access to money during a trip. The unhelpful person on the phone told me that I should just borrow money from my friend ?!? However they allowed $12,000 in fraudulent charges to go through when someone hacked my paypal account, never shutting off my account until my checking and savings were wiped clean. It later got resolved but I had no money for 5 days while the money got returned from PayPal. In my last annoyance they do not have the ability for me to direct deposit into someone else's bank account. I want to be able to direct deposit rent into my boyfriends account and I have to fill out a paper form each time to do so (or make it recurring). Seems archaic. Their security is overly tight on some things (consider Canada high risk despite my traveling there frequently) then they miss huge items (I don't make $12,000 in electronic purchases in 30 minutes). Therefore after 3 years I am finally done and looking for another CU. I do not recommend this CU at all, they have caused me a lot of annoyance.

  Dumping as fast as I can, I just got a new car, I was using onpoint before, was always treated pretty well, they even helped me prepare for a home loan. I get my load with advantis, their website is a mess, even though I have a account, I can't set up an online account to set up automatic payments, this was told to me after messing around with the site for 15 minutes. So I call in, and to set up payments, I have to fill out a form and give them a voided check. I ask what if I don't use checks and they say I have to get another form from the bank and have it notarized. Why is it sooo hard for me to walk into a branch, give you my drivers license and checking and routing number for my bank account? This is how onpoint did it for me, also a insurance card isn't good enough for them, you need to have proof of insurance for a continuous period, gee, maybe you shouldn't approve people for loans before ask for this info? I can easily obtain this info but its a hassle and once again, all onpoint needed was my insurance card and they looked into it themselves! Its not like I didn't just pay these people 23,000 dollars or anything. I plan on going to progressives website and printing out EVERYTHING about my insurance history, all 20+ pages and walking in and dumping it on their desk, here waste time reading all of this. I have a credit score of 743, never miss payments, yet I'm treated like some worthless bum off the streets.

  The bank its self is outstanding. However I wish they had more actual branches. The nearest one to Milwuakie is Woodstock and they only have a "virtual" teller which was unusable. I finally left and made my commute to Belmont where I can do my business with an actual person.

  Massive improvement over a couple years ago. Everything is smooth sailing now, and their investment group is doing awesome work for us! They helped us get a HELOC and the process was pretty much effortless.

  I've always had great service from Advantis, and this branch is no exception. Stephanie, in particular, went out of her way to fulfill an odd request for coins the last time I was there. I'll keep recommending you to anyone who asks!

  I'm sorry but I just have to get this out. To the dreadlocked guy that didn't understand why they had to run a credit check.... I have NEVER opened a bank account WITHOUT EXPECTING to have them run a credit check. And, unfortunately, "in todays day and age" just paying off student loans doesn't really give you a credit history. Also, with the location of this bank, I'm sure they deal w/people of all sorts. Bottom line: I don't think they were discriminating against you. I think this was a simple case of business policies standing in the way of you getting an account, not prejudices! I'm sorry but I' can't stand when people look past the facts just to blame everything on the world being out to get them. Best of luck to you in further endevours!!!

  went in to buy a CD. we were told that we needed our credit checked. under US law the only items required by the Patriot Act are social security numbers and a valid government issued photo id. I have had an account with this institution and never was asked when opening a deposit account for my credit scores.this is a marketing ploy by Advantis to mine personal information. There is no other logical reason.

  The transition from the old website to the new one was a nightmare. Inaccessible data, especially the history portion. This is critical during tax season. Also, please also check your reviews on the google play store for your app reviews. There are many things that need to be fixed regarding the app and it was released in the middle of January, but yet, no update...or not response to reviews of the app. The response rate and time is deteriorating fast. I am very close to changing credit unions.
