  I can't say enough about how terrific I feel when I go into the gresham location. Everyone there are so polite and always smiling. They really do treat everyone like family. I just love going there. Also they will work with you and they have merchandise. Love you guys, Mary Glick

  Me and my dad have been shopping at Silver Lining for years one of the first customers through the door (dad). Their service is great they are always helpful with everything I need. You can put things on layaway if you don't got the cash with you right then. They do rewards points which is a nice bonus. I come in about once a week to see what new inventory they have, and you can get golf clubs to chainsaws...still waiting to come in and find a go-cart. Whatever you want they have it. I been to many pawn shops around Portland and by far this one is the best and friendliest.

  These folks are great!. They have been really helpful with loans, and have been a lot of fun in the process. I feel like my business with them is really appreciated. They get what customer service is all about. The store is crammed full of every type of merchandise at bargain prices. I've been doing business with them for over 10 years.

  I have been shopping at Silver lining for jewelry for several years now, and have always had a great experience. The staff is always very friendly & know alot about the items they sell. They do everything they can to make your experience a positive one. I highly recommend them!

  As a retired Senior, visiting a pawnshop can be a bit intimidating. I rarely write reviews, but felt compelled to write this one. I have been a patron of Silver Lining for decades. The most comforting in my visits to purchase, as well as, a couple of loan transactions, is that you see the same faces as you did decades ago. To me, this creates credibility and trust. The friendly, knowledgeable staff, are always available for advice without applying any extra added pressure to purchase.Their pricing of items is not over inflated like some other resale shops in the Portland area. As a Senior, I find it harder and harder to trust salespersons advice thinking they would say anything to just get the sale. This is an issue you will never experience at Silver Lining...

  I have been going to Silver Lining Jewelry and Loan since they first opened their doors. The employees have always been friendly and very knowledgeable. They are always willing to help me out with the loans i need when other pawn shops wouldn't. Thank you Silver Lining! You guys rock! :)

  My husband and I have been selling stuff to them for a long time now, and they always give us the most money for our stuff. I got 200$ for my computer (loan) when the most any other place would give me is like 60-70$ (total insult for such a nice machine). And most pawn shop employees, in my experience, give you a not so nice feeling. Here it felt like dealing with a normal, down to earth person who was not out to just make a large profit on our stuff. I felt like they really wanted both parties to walk away happy. Also, when I have pawned stuff, they have gone WAY out of their for me. I was late making a payment, and called about a week after it was due to BEG them to let me still extend the pay back date. They were totally cool with this - EVEN KNOW IT WAS PAST MY DUE DATE, AND SOMEONE EVEN PUT MONEY DOWN ON THE ITEM. What pawn shop would do that?!?! Seriously! They could have made more money just selling it. We are, and forever will be, Silver Lining customers. They are truly awesome, down to earth people who look out for their customers. Never been to a pawn shop like this one. Ever.

  I live right next door to the store and have been shopping there for over a year now. DVDs are only 2 bucks, cheaper than most rental stores! I bought a PS3 with a controller and two games for $150, cheaper than anywhere else I could find by a mile. I also bought my girlfriend a pair of diamond earrings for an extremely reasonable price. Every time the staff has been pleasant and have even helped me out occasionally with a discount. Great shop, I'll be coming back as long as I'm in Portland.

  Great place. If you notice, the same people have worked there for a long time...it's like a family in there. Great place to buy DVD's and Electronics. My Father found an awesome Guitar, and if you need a loan, you can't find a better "pawn shop" to go to. Check them out for sure!!
