  John and the guys on the dock are as professional as they come; Courteous, helpful and genuine. They gave us a quality experience to the point that we came back the next week and rented another tri-tune. Thank you fellas. BTW, the boat was almost new, well taken care of and clean as a whistle.

  It would literally be better for your boat to sink than take it to this service team. The total lack of customer service to any attention to follow-up is beyond belief. They actually act like they are doing you a favor to work on your boat. There is ZERO organization to their scheduling of your repair and they don't apologize for it. They will tell you a date without any real plan to hit it. In fact the OWNER of the company will actually put rental boats ahead of your work and not be apologetic for it in any way. He will just say everybody wants their boat done. After 6 weeks and 30+ phone calls to get updates since they never return customer phone calls, I literally took my boat in pieces to another reputable service center. Sadly, they still charged me for the full labor of installing these parts though the parts weren't even fully installed. If they were the only boat service on the planet I would not take my boat back here. Be STRONGLY aware of what you are getting into and expect to WAIT with ZERO Communication.

  Took 4 months to repair our boat. At first I was told that we had to have a small part for the transmission and that it would save us from having to replace the transmission. After waiting for the part for weeks because of the back order, they got the part in and got into the transmission then I was told that they would have to change the transmission. Terrible, Terrible service from start to finish. I always had to call and ask what was going on. To compensate for the poor service, they offered to Reduce the price of washing our boat. After we hadn’t heard anything for three weeks, I called to see if it was ready. I was told it had been ready for two weeks and had been sitting out in the weather and was dirty again. We got our boat and will never use them again.

  It’s like they don’t want your business or money the guy who talks to you over the phone is a joke. Luckily I realized this before I took my boat there to be serviced. I’d highly recommend other people to take there business elsewhere.

  When it comes to purchasing a boat, I would steer clear of this company. I put in a request for more information on a boat in the morning, come later afternoon... no call back, even after receiving an email stating that a sales person would be with me shortly. Knowing that the closing was a couple hours away, I decided to give them a call... after 6 phone calls to the sales department that went unanswered, I get someone in a different area on the phone and she took my information and within ten minutes I get a call from the salesman. Apparently he was the only sales person there that day. I told him which boat I was interested in and asked a couple questions which went unanswered because they weren’t on the sheet. I told him that I would be down on Saturday(called on a Thursday afternoon) to look at the boat and I was informed it was currently in their rental fleet which he said he would make sure it wasn’t rented Saturday so I could test drive it and make an offer but he would send me a message the next day with all the questions I asked and about when to come test the boat, as I was driving from two hours away, Friday afternoon comes around and no message so I message him asking about it. I get a message back saying that the person that had rented it that day was making an offer on the boat and he would let me know if he bought it. First off, if I had known anyone else was interested I would have put a deposit down so I had the option, seeing I had the financing ready to go, but I wasn’t even informed someone else was looking and then bought the boat from underneath me. After the sales person told me it sold, he then sends me a link to their webpage asking me to look at some other less than mediocre surf boat and at that point I decided to take my business elsewhere. Trust me buy from anyone but this company!

  The Wright family loved being cared for by a super company. Our crew of 6 including 4 kids loved having a great boat ready to go. After a fun afternoon on the lake, we pulled into the slip and the staff took care of the rest. Many thanks for a great job done and we pass along our hearty recommendation!

  After reading the reviews that others had problems with reservations, I can agree that their system of tracking their boats may need some work. Overall we were very happy. Rented a great ski boat that was very clean and ran great. Spent 4 fun hours on the lake tubing (also rented from YH). Lance, the owner was very professional and very informative. The young men at the Ridges Marina were very friendly and awesome in getting us out on the water. We will use YH again on our next trip to Hiawassee!

  We had a wonderful experience working with the staff at YHWS. We rented the Bass Tracker for some Spring Break Fishing on Lake Blue Ridge, and the process couldn't have been easier, and the staff couldn't have been nicer. The boat was a little older (the pontoons and ski boats are newer) but it did the job, and we caught some fish! I will definitely use them again if/when we go back to the lake. I would highly recommend them to anyone wanting a trouble free experience.

  The prices are a little high on a few items, you'd be better off getting at Wal-Mart. BUT...they have a great staff and love the Kayak section. Not a bad place in any way at all, but a ski rope I saw, which was a run of the mill item, 120$$?? I can't justify that for a price for a yellow line, plastic handled ski rope. Nope. Way out there. Just one of a few things I noticed, but overall...a great place. Bought a Kayak here and plan to again in a few weeks.

  Katie was so kind and generous in her advice to me. Didn't even have a boat she could sell me as I was looking for something specific but still helped me for a half hour. Wow.
