Mr. Bill5Just moved from out of state. Needed new accounts, debit cards, direct deposit changes...the whole works. I've never met nicer bankers who were not just polite but professional. It went so smooth I'd give more stars if I could. I've been back 3 times this week for withdrawals, information and faxing of critical documents. Every employee lives up to Y12 high standards. My old credit union could never measure up to this outfit. Special shout out to Adam who exceeded all expectations. Wife just as pleased.

E Ross5Y-12 really is a good credit union, in my opinion. I've not yet had any more challenging interactions with them, but as far as basic services, there is never a wait time to make deposit, or withdrawal and their tellers are the happiest gang I've ever met. I've needed a few certified checks and I've never had to pay for that service. Also, their checking account interest payment is above the average. So far, I'm pleased that I chose them. For 15 years, I never felt comfortable doing business with my former credit union, SC TELCO. Y-12 is their polar opposite. After this year of using their bank, I would feel comfortable going to them for any services I might need.

Keith Rearden3I did not know until after opening an account that when using the drive thru I can only deposit by speaking to a bank teller on screen. But, I do not have to speak to anyone to withdraw from the ATM. I was in line in the drive thru twice in one week and waiting well over 30 minutes each time and had to leave without making deposits. This system works backwards... If anything, you should not have to speaking to anyone when depositing cash in the ATMl, but maybe when you withdraw? I do understand with the pandemic nobody can go in the bank to deposit. But, your drive thru system needs much improvement. Know I have to try again Monday morning depending on how slow the drive thru line may take. I do not care about going after hours.

Holleigh Smith1Auto loan refinance. Dealt with Chantel McNeely who wanted us to sign incomplete documents that she could fill in later. When we asked her questions she would huff and roll eyes. After asking her to stop rolling her eyes at us that we are just asking questions to understand what we are signing she became very argumentative stating that she didn't roll her eyes and that she does this everyday. Needless to say this was the first and worst experience ever. Would recommend looking at other locations or different credit union all together. Definitely not a customer friendly location.
