Madison R1More directed at the refill pharmacy because today I went in to get my daughters inhaler. My daughter is ONE so she needs an adapter piece her doctor said I can get it there perfectly fine, doesn’t need prescription. When I ask the lady for it she was so rude. How do they want my daughter to take this medication if they won’t give me all that I need? Next while my daughter was still days old and I kept telling the doctors at pediatrics she has trouble breathing they told me no I was crazy and didn’t know what I was talking about. Changed my daughter to a different doctor because who wants to live with lips turning blue, wheezing and cough and snot all the time? Not me, so I definitely don’t want it for my kid and guess what sure enough my kid has asthma.

Chris Breitweiser1Worst ER I have ever been to. My 4 year old was bleeding out of his head with a very deep cut and needed stitches. We waited for 2 hours in the waiting room and finally gave up and left to go to another emergency room. I will never take my children here again, and if there is an emergency, I highly suggest going somewhere else.

87toyota4runner1Get a second opinion. Sent my wife away saying she was okay. Turns out she had a Kidney infection. So good luck living. Yes tests had been completed. Other doctors are shocked. If you only go here.... you can die

Ivory White1They found my wife had a fractured L1(spine) and sent her home with aspirin. I'm not a Dr, but how can aspirin fix a fractured spine?

Melissa A5Great hospital, had meningitis 3yrs ago,the diagnosed and took care of me until was was transferred. Probably wouldn't be here today if they didn't act fast. Had my son here 2yrs ago. I've never had a problem with Winn Army Hospital

Amber Olejar5I can agree the er is slow however the labor and delivery floors are amazing they don't rush baby out and make sure mom is as comfortable as possible. You never feel like a burden and the nurses are absolutely amazing. My son had a sugar issue when born they gave him one on one care and the pediatricians spent alot of individual time with him. When something is wrong they are on top if it. Best delivery and recovery I have ever had and this was baby number 3.

Lisa M5Special thanks to the emergency room here for saving my life when I threatened to commit suicide! I can't fully remember the names of the nurses who assisted me, but I remember that one of you offered to be my "Georgia mom" during that time :). Both nurses and the medic were very friendly and comforting. The words said during that time actually meant a lot to me and I'm happy I am still alive and living well because of the staff! I wish I could have also thanked Dr. Anderson within the therapy department of the hospital during that time. He took a lot of his time to help me recover mentally. To this day, I still use the worksheets and lessons he taught me to help cope with any negative thoughts! Lastly, the ER has a very good doctor named Dr. Williams. He was very patient with my husband and I the multiple times we visited. We are extremely grateful for that!

Willis Grant1The ER is literally the worst. I got here 3-4 hours ago and My vitals were the only thing taken. You have a better chance going off post to liberty ER. I’m leaving and going home because the wait is just to long and I have to get some sleep for work in morning. Thanks for nothing!

Brittney Seiler3Took my daughter to the er one night (1.5 year old). Although they were very friendly, they still couldn't "see a problem". My daughter had a temp of 105, vomiting, no wet diapers, and not enough energy to even cry. We were sent home. I took her to her pediatrician the next day as a follow up and Dr Q, who has been with my daughter since birth, found (in less than 5 minutes) an upper respiratory infection, an ear infection, and she was dehydrated! I'm not a fan of the er, but the pediatrics is the best group of people I have ever met! They listen to me, make sure my daughter is happy, and they do their jobs very well. The 3 stars given are all for the pediatrics.

Joker WonderWoman1I went to the ER department on a Saturday, and it wasn't busy. Not only am I Military Spouse, but I'm also a Retired Combat Veteran. After I checked in, me and my friend (who’s also the CEO of the Service Dog Training Company that I went through) that brought me in, due to the fact that I couldn't drive, were approached by the Security Guard, and were asked if my Service Dog (which is a Yorkshire Terrier who wears a vest that clearly states that she is a Service Dog) was a Service Dog. I responded with yes. He then asked me what she was used for and what my disability was, which is a HIPPA violation and an invasion of privacy. I told him that. The triage nurse came out, and the 1st thing out of her mouth was that she was allergic to dogs. Venus is hypo-allergenic, which I told her, but she still insisted, so my friend said just to go in, and I did. But if she was allergic, I wouldn't have been able to have been triaged by her. When I returned to the lobby, I find my friend and Service Dog being hounded by the Security Guard and someone else. The other person turns out to be a nurse. She then asks who the dog belongs to. I said me. She then says that the hospital has a policy when it comes to Service Dogs, and I tell her, that as a Prior Combat Medic and Preventive Medicine NCO, that also worked in Operations, I understand. I asked about the policy, and who wrote it. She couldn't tell me, since she didn't have the entire policy with her. The part she DID have with her contained questions. Before she started her questions, I explained that I didn't like people behind me, and I asked them to please move. She did, but the Security Guard condescendingly and patronizingly said "I'll even put my hands behind my back for you." The first question she asked me was "What is the Service Dog for and what is your disability?" I told her that is a HIPPA violation. I then suggested that they get together with their DCN, and ER head to fix this policy because they are in jeopardy of getting sued. I was then told that I would have no other issues after they gave me and my friend a half attempted apology. About 30 minutes passed and then another nurse came out, and I was called to go to the back. He asked me if I was going to leave my Service Dog in the lobby. I said not only no, but that she goes everywhere with me. He said that he was told that she would be staying with my friend, and that he needed to go check again in the back. When he came back out and stated that Venus needed to stay in the lobby, I was done. I told him to take me off the list, and I walked out with my Service Dog, and my friend. I was then taken to Wayne Memorial Hospital in Jesup, and I was treated with respect and they had no issue with my Service Dog. They were absolutely appalled at the treatment that I and my Service Dog received from Winn. I have already spoken to the Patient Advocate about this, and in this day in age, I cannot believe that having a Service Dog is an issue. When I walked into the hospital through the main entrance the following Monday, the most that anyone said, was that my Service Dog was cute. Nothing else. I feel like my Army family has not only failed me, but violated rights, and heaven forbid they allow someone to get treatment that needs to have a Service Dog in order to feel whole.
