  I got a new account with westerra; I have been unable to log into the online banking app for a long time. Because of my working hours, I took time out of my lunch break to call and get it fixed. They left me on hold and forgot about me.

  We couldn’t be more pleased with our experience with Westerra Credit Union and our loan officer Lonnie. His knowledge and vast experience in the financial/ mortgage industry were crucial to making this happen, especially since we are small business owners. They were able to close on our refinance much sooner than we originally thought. In every single way they went above and beyond expectations.

  Lonnie was very knowledgeable and responsive, even when I constantly peppered him with questions :). He was very willing to explain things in detail and provide me with options. He was very solution-oriented along the way and really pushed to get my loan processed quickly - which was a feat given the current refinancing volumes due to COVID-19. He's a strong advocate and truly an expert in his field. I very highly recommend working with Lonnie.

  Lonnie Burkholder was a pleasure to work with and to talk to. He was very professional and smoothed out all of the bumps along the way. He was awesome at keeping in touch and kept me informed about how things were going throughout the entire process.I initially went to that company that was holding my mortgage at the time and there was just no comparison to the top-notch service that I received from Westerra.

  Lonnie's title is 'Loan Officer' but I would say he, and the whole team, went beyond his title and looked out for me. Lonnie believed my loan should be approved and when i thought it hopeless bean counting he encouraged me and pressed on until we found a way to make it happen. Honest, trustworthy, good communicator, great guy. Right on Lonnie.

  My wife took out some cash and asked Patrick to put a band around the bundle saying how much was in the bundle like they have done before. Patrick told her he did not have bands for $5k but did not offer the 2K bands but offered her a rubber band. When I called and talked to Dave the manager, he said that it was just a miscommunication but they did not have the 5k bands; but I have had 5k bands put on before at this branch. I think Patrick should have offered her the 2k bands and put the money in 2k bundles. It is my opinion that the boss, employee relationships in this credit union are not in the correct perspective, the boss is friends with the employees under him and so no actions are taken if an employee does not do their job or offer the services they can provide. This service is not up to par for any credit union.

  Friendly staff! Jamie helped me open a New Account today, she was knowledgeable and very easy to talk with. The perks at this CU are top notch IMO. Highly recommended ! Wished I had switched sooner
