  My wife opened a saving account at this Westerra Credit Union for our child a few years ago. We made numerous deposits to this account over the course of a couple of years. One day when my son and I were trying to make a deposit into his account, we encountered the rudest, nastiest, most unfriendly bank teller I've ever met in my life. This person angered me so much that I immediately closed my son's account and transferred his funds over to Chase bank. See you later.

  I have had nothing but a great experience with Westerra (referred my mother & she switched from her bank of 18 years to come to Westerra) until a few months ago. I went in to discuss getting a personal loan to pay off a credit card and was told that I would be able to get around a 2% interest rate. Long story short, the rep I worked with ran my credit just to tell me I wouldn't be eligible for the 2% interest rate unless I opened another CC with them vs getting a loan - I WOULD NOT have had my CREDIT RAN if I knew this as it didn't make sense with my situation to open a new CC. Next, the same rep told me I was eligible for a line of credit in case my checking account went negative- didn't mention the 21% interest rate at any point and did not properly set up either loan that I went through with - which has cost me time. I called Westerra and requested a manager from either the call center or this location to call me to discuss these issues and discuss why the rep was NOT trained. If the employees of Westerra Credit Union aren't trained properly - how am I supposed to feel my money is safe and secure with your institution? Extremely dissatisfied and will be switching financial institutions if no follow up is provided. Figure it out Westerra of Littleton!!

  I started a new account relationship with Westerra Credit Union several months ago and have been meaning to write this review since then. I chose Westerra because of a recommendation from a close friend. I was not disappointed. Amr Mohamed was my Professional Services Representative. He was extremely knowledgeable and professional. He went above and beyond to ensure that I not only had the correct accounts for my needs, but tools for future success. I highly recommend Westerra Credit Union-Littleton, CO. When you decide to open a new account, ask for Amr.

  I've been a member of the credit union since 87. I just recently started to use my account again. Lori, the branch manager is wonderful. I had some pretty in-depth requests with a signature guarantee and a large deposit. Lori was able to take care of everything I needed in a timely matter. I have found every teller I have encountered has been very polite and very knowledgeable. Thanks for all the help guys

  District manager is abusive to ada disability laws, cildren/parents, and elderly especially vulnerable ones after loosing spouse. Will steal money (as you can see in many other reviews). Had to have state attorney to fix mortgage as they tried to take a home that was paid for one month in advance on mortgage. Be very cautious. I wouldn't waste my time at this bank as there are many others qith better reputations.

  I am a member at first tech credit union went into this credit union to deposit a check . The lady behind the glass at her desk asked me for my account number. I was wearing a mask the entire time. I had to get into my account so my phone has face Recognition I pulled my mask down for 2 seconds and she yelled at me for pulling my mask down ! I felt so insulted !!! I follow the rules and very respectful for others!!! I will never go into this place ever again!!!! I told her never mind I will deposit it somewhere else on the way out the guy sitting at the desk to get into the desk asked if everything went good I told him no! That the lady behind the glass yelled at me for getting the information she asked for ! He said well I’m sorry to hear that Bye... unbelievable the way people treat people that are just trying to bring in a check to deposit following the CDC guidelines!!!

  Been with this CU for over 5 years. I do all my business true them. Never been late on a car payments or overdrawn on my account. The reason for the low ratings is because when I came to get a small personal loan to consolidate a small debt I have I was denied. Long history with them and they show no loyalty back. I feel like I'm banking with Chase banks.

  I recommend never getting a car loan here. Since paying off my car loan, I have had to wait for what will end up being 3 weeks to get the title sent to me. I have a buyer who wants to buy it, the cash advance for which I paid off the loan is sitting on my credit card, and Westerra refuses to provide any means of getting the title to me more quickly than 3 weeks! The car is mine, as of 3 weeks ago, and I still don't have the title. Additionally, they insist on sending the title in the USPS, which means there is little security involved, in this rural area, especially given that USPS is totally erratic in our area, and last night the mail arrived at 8:30 PM. We had a car loan at Elevations on another car -- and they were super-accomodating when it came to help us in the transaction. Elevations allowed us to meet with the buyer in their offices, and then they sent to title to the buyer! Done deal! Yet at Westerra, the people answering the phone acted like I was from another planet when I suggested that! In my experience with them, Westerra acts like they're always right and the customer is wrong.

  The absolute rudest office I’ve ever worked with. We’ve been with Westerra for over 10 years. Every other branch we’ve had great customer service. At this location (off of Bowles) they talk down to you and are argumentative. When you ask a question, they talk circles to not answer. So glad to be closing my account as I can’t deal with this type of poor customer service.
