Dawn Wien3The communication between the company and myself was very poor. They said they would “keep in touch” but, I had to call multiple times over the course of about 2 months to check on the progress of when the project would begin. Once they started the soffit and fascia the workers were very friendly, efficient, and the work was fantastic! 5 stars for them! The gutters got installed after the soffit and fascia and were up in no time at all. There was a leak in the gutter and they said the would come back sometime and fix it.

Blaine Rogness5We highly recommend Western Products and in particular the sales person, Lance Ludemann. Lance was knowledgeable, helpful and easy to work with. He was willing to help guide us with our color and design choices. He was very responsive to our calls, texts and questions (which I had a lot of). The installation crew was professional, efficient and does quality work. We are very happy with the final product and would highly recommend Western Products to anyone.

Kevin Gross5I just had my shingles re-done with Western Products. I worked with Matt on the project. I was very impressed with his knowledge. He was the only rep that didn't just drop the estimate and run. He took the time to explain the different options. He also worked with me to address some of my concerns with ice dams that i was having. (I'll let you know in the spring if it worked :) ) I was totally impressed with the speed of the install. They were in and out so fast that my neighbors didn't even know it was done. They left my yard cleaner than when they started. \

Gail Lotzer5I have an older farm house & needed 6 windows replaced.. well, really 8 but figured I could only afford 6. I sent in thru the Western Products website out of Fargo, N.D. for a free estimate & was called shortly thereafter for an appt. with Kathy, the sales rep. She showed up on time, answered all my questions and is a very knowledgeable lady with years of experience and sure isn't a "pushy" sales person. I highly recommend her. She measured my windows and a couple weeks later Neil showed up to measure again. Once again, a very nice guy to deal with. On Oct. 18th, Justin came & installed my windows & on the 19th he finished all the outside steel around the windows. His clean-up was awesome as was the installation! I could not be more pleased with the crew and the looks of the new windows & plan on doing more business with this company next Spring. I highly recommend this company. :)

Barb Ingebritson1We ordered five windows, as well as a storm door and entry door, for our seasonal lake cabin in September 2016. The windows and doors were installed in May 2017. We arrived at our cabin on May 14, 2017, following the window and door installation. Before we even entered the cabin we could see that the entry door was not the design that we had ordered. When we contacted Jesse, the rep from Western Products who had met with us and written the order, he tried to convince us that the door we had received would be ok. Although my husband physically showed him exactly what door design we wanted, he emailed "As the contract states, "half glass 2 panel Smooth Star door", any change of the door would incur additional charges." We totally agree that he wrote up the contract/order incorrectly. When he stopped communicating with us, we then connected with Gary, the sales manager. Initially he was apologetic and understood that we did not get the door we wanted, not even close. After a few emails and phone calls, his tone and demeanor changed and he informed us that we would need to pay an additional $200.00 for installing the door we had wanted all along. He also made a snarky comment about us writing a bad online review. (BTW, both installers were extremely respectful and completed their work well.) So, if you like surprises, even when you pay over $12,000 to a company for their products and services, then Western Products is the company for you. If you like to be blamed for a company's mistake, then Western Products is the company for you. If you like to pay additional costs for something that you had already paid for, then Western Products is the company for you. We will never do business with Western Products again nor would we recommend them to anyone based on our disappointing experience. Response to owner: We were told that we need to pay an additional $200.00 to receive the correct door, which we had described and believed had been ordered last fall. It turns out that a door not anything like we wanted was initially installed. So we are being financially penalized for the rep's mistake. The reputable thing to do would be for Western Products to admit their mistake, cover additional costs, and replace it without pointing their finger at customers who do not bear any of the responsibility for the mistake. Question: We have smudges where some product was used to fill nail holes on the wood trim around the windows. Due to the issue with the door, which we were forced to pay $200 to correct Western Products' mistake, we tried to live with that situation. However, visitors have noticed and commented on the smudges. Please let us know how Western Products plans to correct that unsightly look. Hopefully we will not be expected to pay additionally for that as well.

Jo Berdahl5Everyone was very professional. Herb Volkert, our installer, is a master craftsman. The quality of his work exceeded our expectations. He worked on our house like it was his own, woodwork is cut perfectly, always using a tarp and vacumming, etc. We are very satisifed with our new windows! The only disappointment is the screens are poorly designed.
