Wells Fargo Bank Reviews

Taia B1If I could give zero stars I would. It is ridiculous that every time I visit there is an astronomical wait time. Which is baffling because every visit I make there’s more than enough employees either behind the counter or sitting at the desk. This being the only branch centrally located within the McDonaugh area sometimes I have no choice. I would encourage this branch to work on not only customer service but servicing your customer promptly.
Response from the ownerI’m sorry you continue to experience extended wait times at this location, Taia, and I want to be sure these concerns are addressed. Please send an email to [email protected] with your full name, phone number, and address (no account numbers). Be sure to also include your Google username and mention you posted a review on a Wells Fargo location. Thank you. -Casey, Wells Fargo HL Social

Riley Williams2Extremely slow, teller kept asking for help, took over 25 minutes to get a simple transaction done. 2 stars because they were at least friendly, but time is more valuable to me

Jesus R1It's the worst service you can get in this bank. You have to wait 2 hours for them to attend to you...to make a wire transfer. .. the person who is manager is useless, they are very slow has a 5 people who are only in the offices playing candy crush
Response from the ownerI understand your time is valuable, and I apologize sincerely for the inconvenience, Jesus. Please email me at [email protected] with your full name, phone number, and address (no account numbers). Emma Rose1I was in the bank to make a change to my account when an elderly woman who had just lost her husband came in trying to open an estate account. She needed to get an EIN number before doing so to which the woman repeatedly told the bankers she did not know how to do and did not have anyone to help her. The gentleman mocked her saying 'you just have to press buttons.' and he and the other woman repeated told her they would not help her. It was painful to watch. Setting up an EIN is not difficult but they certainly could have assisted her to walk through it. Instead she was turned away grieving and alone. I will not be back to this branch. I can't imagine treating an older woman who has just lost her husband like this. If both of them could be greeting people at the door surely one of them could have helped her!
Response from the ownerI appreciate you bringing this to our attention, and I want to make sure your feedback is forwarded appropriately. Please email me at [email protected] with your full name, Google username, phone number, and address (no account numbers). I look forward to discussing this further. -Jessica, Wells Fargo HL Social

Ma S1I have been banking with Wachovia that was purchased by Wells Fargo several years ago for about 16 years. I have always been treated with courtesy and professionalism until now. I think hiring good people is a challenge nowadays but that does not excuse Wells Fargo's inadequacies of their employees. I am not sure if leaving is the answer because other banks probably have the same problems. Maybe a different banking system that the regular people own will make a difference. Banks have a monopoly so just like the DMV they don't care.
Response from the ownerI’d like to know what happened to make you feel this way. At your convenience, send an email to [email protected] with some additional details about your experience (no account numbers), and I’ll do my best to address your concerns. Please include your Google username and mention you posted a review on a Wells Fargo location. Thank you for your time. -Casey, Wells Fargo HL Social

Crusty Cowboy5After reading the reviews about this bank, I was sceptical about going to it. Everyone I encountered were polite and helpful. I am really happy about the service that I received. I notice that people posted reviews about phone calls not being answered. When they, or any place, is short on help, there is only so much that can be done with limited staff. We are living in a strange time with covid, people not wanting to work or there is a shortage on qualified people to fill a job. You can't bash a bank, or any other business that are doing the best that they can.
Response from the ownerI truly appreciate you taking the time to share these kind words with us, Gary. It’s wonderful to see that you’ve had such a positive experience. -AJ, Wells Fargo HL Social

Homesteader Chick1I have never been to a bank this rude and unprofessional. The black teller and the black manager was so rude to me and never tried to help me. The manager was talking to me like I'm slow and kept turning off her microphone because she didn't want to try to help me and hurry me off. This is the type of behavior that will keep us from opportunities in life.Wells Fargo need to clean house at this location and do new rehires with proper training.
Response from the ownerI’m truly sorry this was your experience when visiting this branch. Please allow me the chance to have this thoroughly reviewed and addressed. jntwst1I went to the bank on Saturday, Dec 28th to cash a check at 12:40 pm. The bank closes at 1:00 pm on Saturdays so I had made it there in plenty of time. When I went inside there was one person in line in front of me and three tellers worker ING. One was waiting on drive-thru customers, one was supposed to be waiting on customers, but it looked like she was going around and collecting money to go ahead and close, while the third teller was slowly and doing something for fifteen minutes before she called for the woman in front of me. While other customers were coming in and I had waited 17 minutes, I asked the teller "why is it more important for you all to close up the bank than getting the customers out on time?" She explained to me as she motioned to the other two ladies behind the counter, "dem two over already." I asked if she meant overtime, to which she confirmed. Firstly, I don't care! That's not my problem! And, how could they possibly on overtime when they had closed at 1:00 pm on the 24th and closed all day the 25th? Either way, that should never impact customer service and the way the tellers interact with the customers. These people are extremely unprofessional and poorly educated.
Response from the ownerThis is not the customer experience we strive for, and I want to make sure the appropriate team addresses your concerns. Please mention your review and Google username in an email to [email protected] (no account numbers). Faith Corbin1If you plan on going to the drive-thru at this location don’t plan anything else for that day because you’re going to be sitting there forever! The absolute slowest service I have ever received at any bank!
