On 4/30 proceeded to the branch at 12 N Zak Hinton Pkwy, McDonough,GA which online showed open 9AM-12 NOON. Upon arriving at that address not on found it was CLOSED but with no sign that it was a TRUIST facility. On 5/1 transferred funds from one TRUIST checking account to another, was told to wait on the line for a confirmation number, NEVER received one.

When I call, they either don't answer or act like they can't hear you and hang up almost immediately. They've changed their branch hours to close at 2pm but have also restricted access to the lobby by Appointment Only. The amount of difficulty to perform my pending task is absurd. I've also had to run behind their local and online support numerous times regarding a promotion I fully qualified and waited for, only to not receive it.

I went there on Saturday morning during their normal business hours and they were closed. There were no signs on the drive-thru mentioning that they were closed. When I called the bank I got a conflicting voice message. It mentioned they were closed but also mentioned they were open from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on a Saturday. I am sure this is related to the pandemic, but they should do a better job of communicating.

I have opened my account earlier this year with a great welcome as a new customer. I do most of my banking with direct deposits and very few check deposits. On 05/30, I made my first check deposit via atm. With Monday being a holiday, I expected the funds to be delayed for processing. I contact customer service first, ask when the funds would be made available. The young lady mentioned Wednesday morning. Wednesday morning arrived, funds were now place on a 7 day hold. So I contacted the Mc Donough Branch (atm where check was deposited). Spoke with Jasmine at 9 am in the morning on 06/02, who told me she would try to speak with branch manager to see if he can verify the check.(Not something they normally do!!! lesson learned, just go to the bank the check is written on to see if they can cash it, then deposit cash into your account).. I stated I appreciate the help. I ask what will determine if the check can be cleared faster. I was told it depends on length of account, account history such as return fees, past balances, etc. I proceed to wait for a return call from Jasmine. I ended up calling the brank back due to activity I had notice on the account (around 2 pm). Spoke with Jasmine who at that time stated she had not got an answer in regards to getting funds released. I became a little upset as the bank moved money from one account to another to clear a negative balance (meanwhile I am awaiting a check to be clear to do that myself). I ask for a return call back to let me know if the Branch Manager would be able to assist. (did not receive a call back ). Call on 06/03 spoke with Rhonda, explained the situation, was told I would received a call back (called and left a second number due to phone being broke (did not receive a call back). I do understand that not all situations may not always be resolved, but one thing I do value is a person's word. Jasmine nor Rhonda or event the Branch Manager Glen, who was suppose to try to assist at his level, never returned my call to let me know what could/could not be done. The level of service you receive, because the the lobby is closed and people don't see you face to face is horrible. So at this point, I will make other arrangements and wait for this 7 day hold to fall off. With that being said, you can guess what will happen next for me. Sorry for the long vent, but when things return back to normal and we can go inside a branch, I hope the service will return back to normal.

I’m really thinking of changing banks this is ridiculous every time I come here they are closed I have to go all the way to Stockbridge which is a very inconvenient!!! And then when the ATM don’t work I have to go and get charged for using another ATM!!! SMH!!

The teller Shane that was handling my cashing a check was very rude and unprofessional! I would never have a bank account there if that's how they treat people!
