Jimmy and Craig have been the go to automotive repair guys for my family for decades. My parents went to them for their cars and I have gone to them for mine. They are trustworthy and they care. They consistently go above and beyond and it is a pleasure working with them. They give thoughtful answers on what repairs should be done now and want you can safely wait to do. I also value their advice on the most practical way to deal with something. The main mechanic and possibly others seem to have been there many years. It is very convenient that Walton’s provides drivers to drop you off home and then to pick you up so you can get your car. While there is turnover among the drivers as one would expect in that position, it generally seems to be they are training to become mechanics or after they leave to try something else, they come back. I continue to go to this Walton’s even though I have moved. My Dad’s car was his prized possession and he trusted it to them. They kept his 1993 Pontiac Bonneville going until I decided it was time to give it its richly deserved retirement in 2022 because it was difficult to get some parts. I will be forever grateful for the many kindnesses they have shown. I once managed to lock the keys and my mother’s wheelchair in the trunk of the car while the car was in my garage with her seated in the car. Without the wheelchair we were not able to get her into the house and without the keys I could not drive the car anywhere. Even though the shop was extremely busy and some people were out sick, Jimmy drove all the way to our place, got in the backseat and was able to remove parts of the seat and fish the keys out of the trunk! Thank you to Jimmy and Craig for everything over all of these decades!

Great service, Great customer service saved me money when other mechanics wanted to charge me for unnecessary fixes. Will definitely go back for future service.

Save your money and go to a reputable mechanic. Called me and asked me what was wrong with my car and charged me $80 fee just to take my car to another mechanic who could actually tell me my problem. Thanks Jimmy. Good luck when most cars go electric.

I've been hanging around the Peninsula for decades and in my real estate business you can bet I've met hundreds and hundreds of people and experienced varying levels of customer service from bad to excellent. Happy to say Walton's is at the top of customer service. Here's why for me ... I don't know why but when I'm driving around, my car's tires seem to be a magnet for nails. At least a half dozen times over the last few years, I will pick up said evil nail, hobble over to Walton's and with hardly a wait, there are the guys with a smile happy to help me and get me on the road. Look, if you don't have a warranty on your car and you need service, I trust the guys at Walton's to do good work for you!

I have been bringing my entire fleet of cars to Jimmy and Craig for at least the past 10 years. They are quick and responsive, and give fair bids for the work they are doing. They will pick me up and drop me off at home or wherever I am and I so appreciate there services!

I purchased a used 2011 VW Golf from Walton Automotive some months ago, The owner and the staff were extremely helpful and polite during the buying process, and perhaps just as importantly I discovered after having the car thoroughly checked at the local VW Dealership, they were also completely honest about its mechanical condition. I would not hesitate to buy another vehicle from them.

One Star for courtesy. Can't give zero stars. I had my 2001 Mustang serviced there in September (9/18/18), after having AAA check and tell me that I might have a faulty fuel pump. I went to Walton's because it was close to work and if needed I could walk to it. Jimmy confirmed that it was the fuel pump that needed replacing and with that also the filter. OK, fine. I knew that much before I left it to be worked on. I pick it up after it had been worked on and he tells me that a code popped up- P453 Evap, causing the check engine light to come one after replacing the pump, I was told that the code wouldn't be a problem until I had to get my car smogged, that it was fine to drive with it. Now a exactly a month later- I was driving home from work and noticed my car shuddering. Called and talked to Jimmy again- was told that he "Didn't want to charge me more" at the time of service a month ago to check why the code was actually coming up, that the smoke test would cost more and if I brought it in now I'd be charged an extra $200 for it. I now know not to go here.

Terrible, terrible! Came to the shop with a small problem, the person at front desk Jimmy his name - could not care less. He told me that they charge $140 dollars per hour ( really?, Audi of Pacific is charging about the same)and he can't give me an estimate of how long the job will take.He refuse to lift the car and just look how simple it is, instead he told me that it my take two or more hours to do and recommended to me to leave the car at shop so he can decide and call me latter. Really Jimmy? You don't leave your car at the place you haven't decide to business with. I went to Big Q Auto Repair located on 2501 Pacific Coast Hwy, Signal Hill, and they did the job for $60 dollars in 20 min! What a difference! Jimmy you don't treat locals that way because we are the reason you have business here in the first place. Will never come back and never recommend.

Great service, they are very reliable and affordable. I would recommend everyone to take their car to get serviced. Polite and courteous as well. I cant say enough good things about them. Nice change from other mechanics.

they diagnosed a seemingly complicated thing (ABS activating when I come to a stop) by replacing everything until it works. the ABS pump brake sensors chnage brake lines $1700 or more fianl bill) turned out the problem was it needed a new bearing. i found that out by doing a Google Seach. should have been the first thing they did. I'm not even car savvy. "ABS activiation at low speeds chevrolet 2002" answer: "check your bearing assembly, your speed sensor is part of that assembly..." also" see chevrolet issued a bullentin on this same problem. miracle of the internet- no computer there I guess?
