  Tim was awesome he actually cared about why I was pawning my items and wasn't just a wall... I work in customer service as well so I know how crappy things can get. I will definitely be back at Vista pawn the next time I need any of their services!!!

  Highly suggest taking your business elsewhere. Employees there offered me a very lowball price for my ps4, did not seem like they wanted to help at all. Took the same one to pawn 1 and they gave me 55 dollars more no questions asked. Actually met reasonably close to my asking price. Vista pawn likes to rip people off. I recommend pawn 1, the service was 10x better too

  I came looking for jewelery & movies. They have their movies alphabetically arranged which is nice since many pawn shops just have them randomly put on a shelf or a stand. Also their selection was so large that I ended up spending over an hour looking at & choosing over 20 movies!!! A nice gentleman employee saw i had an armful & he brought me a hand cart w/o my asking. He was additionally very kind and friendly at checkout...his name was Tim. I have been looking at pawn shops & thrift stores for Pilates & yoga DVD's w/o luck. Vista pawn at 503 Vista ave Boise had soooo many to choose from. No scratches or skips. But, alas, if you are going to go there to purchase some yourself, I'm afraid that I depleted almost all they had. They will needed to get more in. Overall an excellent store, employees, customer service, & selection.

  Shady group of people! My friend did a loan in a very expensive item and they told his deadline to get it out was three months even says on the paperwork! They told them it was in default and he had lost it! Wouldn't go to them nor would I suggest dealing with shady lying people. I generally have a lot of good things to share but messing with people financially is not something people should do! I definitely will be making sure to advise everyone I know and my customers for future references! This is the location right off of Vista Ave. They're rude and greedy. They have no customer service skills whatsoever. Definitely will be calling the BBB and reporting this after my friend goes to court.

  Vista Pawn has been serving the Boise community for over 40 years and we do so ethically and with a super bunch of employees. Your friend defaulted on his loan once he did not make an interest payment within the 30 day maturity date as stated on his pawn slip. We also grant a 10 day grace period in case of hardship. In most cases we are willing to work with our customers as long as our customers work with us and they do not say or do anything out of line. We were pleased we were able to work with your friend and locate his item on our sales floor and we were able to put back into pawn for him. We look forward to his next visit at Vista Pawn.

  I usually buy and sell my silver and gold at Rosehill coin & jewelry but they were closed so i decided to stop by vista pawn on my way home since it was on the way. I had 20 one ounce American silver eagles I wanted to sell, i knew i probably wasnt going to get as good of a price compared to rosehill coin with whom ive been doing business with for years but i needed to money and couldn't wait. First off i was shocked at how rough they were with my coins when they took them out of the tube to inspect and weigh them but i was even more shocked at how much i was offered. $10 per coin! The spot price of the day was $17.11 Prior to this the lowest price ive been offered is 90% of spot, for American silver eagles 95% of spot is the industry norm at respectable pawn as well as gold and silver coin stores. vista pawn was offering about 60% of spot, which is just ridiculous so i decided to take my business elsewhere. I called another pawn shop and was offered $16.25 which is about 95% spot price, that was a fair offer but i decided to call Idaho gold & silver on fairview and was offered spot + $0.50. so the final numbers are...... I was offered $200.00 at vista pawn, they wouldnt go a penny higher I ended up getting $350.00 for my 20 one ounce silver eagles at Idaho gold and silver, for which i didnt have to negotiate at all, $350 was their opening offer so long story short do NOT try and sell your gold and silver here, i cant comment on how well they pay for other items like tools or firearms but i have no reason to think they would pay a fair price for those either.

  We appreciate this review, as we try and help a majority of the Boise area, we recognize that a pawn shop isn't the best place to buy and sell metals. However, if those metals are in a ring form, with a gemstone we can certainly give some of the best deals around!   Went there to Sell couple of things was told that it is a state law that they can’t use the military IDs to sell things at a pawn shop. Called every pawnshop in Boise and all of them said it was absolutely ok to use military ID. Don’t know if it was just laziness or lack of knowledge but it was a bad experience

  Business is very competitive and in tune with other competitor's policies and strives to be#1. In my opinion BEST pawn Shop in Boise at this time!

  Great kind staff. Went in to buy a leaf blower, fpund a stihl but it would not fire, had a second one on shelf they matched the price and went over all the features with me as it hav vacuum bag and attachments. Great people.

  This place is a joke. Do yourself a favor and stay away. Place smells of old popcorn, Sketchy part of town. Rude sales people and 40% overpriced items. I've been on the hunt for a Smith & Weston mp 15-22 which lead me at some local pawn shops. This was by far the worst pawn shop in town I visited, they wouldn't look at my item I was looking to maybe trade or sell and offered me 100 less then all other pawn shops

  This pawn shop is awesome! The staff is super friendly and helpful & I almost always find what I'm looking for...power tools, guitars, jewelry, tvs, dvds, at a really good price! Love this place!
