  So we had Benchmark as our lender and some of the information we were being fed was difficult to swallow. Then within a week of closing I consistently saw Alice on facebook ads and such that I had to give it a try. Withing 24hrs we spoke about the numbers and how everything that we wanted made sense. Upon completion of our loan processing and approval there was no doubt that Alice knew her job. There was no bizarre estimates and insane numbers for closing costs. Alice thank you for doing such quick work to get us approved and remain in the home we wanted. It's very unfortunate that Benchmark was so hard to work with towards the end. We will be spreading your name all over. We are grateful! Thank you and I hope you continue to enjoy life.

  used Ms. Alice and her team in Dec 2018 when I bought my home, and received great customer service from them. When I found out I was able to refinance I used Ms. Alice again to help me with the process and received once again the best customer service that I could ask for. Veteran United Home Loans from start to finish took care of every little detail and I was always informed on the process of my refinance.   I've had many doors closed in my face over the years regarding home ownership because of irresponsible decisions I made more than 20 years ago. I was beginning to lose faith in achieving the "American Dream". I felt like reaching out to Veterans United Home Loans was a long shot, but decided to do it anyway.   Veterans United makes you go beyond the requirements of the VA. Veterans United was willing to let us go homeless while we wait a month for a lead test in the well water. The lead test was not required by the VA. I switched to a local lender and closed 1 week later. Veterans United doesn't look out for veterans. I had the worst home buying experience with Veterans United.

  John--I'm very sorry to hear the process was delayed for you. I understand it can be frustrating to have to wait for all "i's" to be dotted and "t's" to be crossed! VA minimum property requirements include having access to an adequate water supply that is safe and drinkable. While the VA itself may not specify a lead test, this is because in instances of water safety, the VA recognizes the authority of local and state health authorities, as well as EPA standards. In this case, EPA standards include testing for nitrates, coliform, and lead. Ultimately, we want to ensure we abide by proper guidelines, and that the veterans with whom we work are making a sound investment into a home they can be sure is safe and secure. I understand and am sorry that the delay for this test was not compatible with your homebuying timeline, and while I am disheartened to hear we could not keep your business, I am happy you found a great deal for you and got into your new home.   This was my first home purchase which I had contemplated years in knowing the frustration of dealing with other lenders. I reviewed the background of Veterans United Home Loans and filled out the paperwork. The process was so easy. The whole team was patient and diligent in assisting me in every aspect of my Home Loan. I am retired Army and I continue to work with soldiers everyday. I have become an advocate of Veterans United Home Loans. So when I hear soldiers talk about purchasing their first home I direct them to Veterans United, I told them it's like being with a team and family and you can't go wrong. So don't hesitate, they will guide you in the right direction without feeling any kind of pressure.

  My wife and I worked with Alice Schneider and I have nothing but good things to say about the process. We had worked with another mortgage lender before going to Veteran's United and it was a disaster. Alice ensured everything was good to go before we even put an offer on a house just so there would be no surprises. Our rates are great and we have zero complaints about the service we received. Just to note, I am not sure what Chad Cherry's one star review is about but none of the things he mentioned were ever involved in our process. If you check his reviews, he is a habitual one star contributor. Some people just can't be happy with anything...... Veterans United has a great track record with positive reviews from literally thousands of people (company as a whole).

  Alice Schneider and her team are wonderful! She made sure that our home purchasing process, especially on the financing end, went seamlessly. Alice aired on the side of caution to prepare us for any possibility but in the end, it worked out better for us that we could have hoped for. Alice is a busy woman but does her very best to get back to you when she can and provide answers to your questions to the best of her ability. It is a delicate song and dance between the lender, the builder and a nit-picky underwriter but Alice handled it with grace and ease under challenging circumstances and always maintained composure and an encouraging attitude to us as first-time buyers. Alice made it a point to be at our closing and had everything on her end ready to go and organized. Alice did everything in her power to ensure that we made it to the closing table as happy customers on the financial front and we appreciate her efforts, pleasant customer service and accommodating nature!

  Kyle and his team Evan and Jaclyn were great! They were great on communication and we had a closing date of under 20 days on which they were able to accomplish! They were awesome! I recommend them to anyone. I will say that the only issue I had was when they sent out our initial CD, we were getting a signicficant amount of money back, but when they sent us our final CD, it was a lot less money back because there was a maximum cash back at closing, which I wish was disclosed, but I guess that's my fault for not researching. Either way, they were great and EXTREMELY helpful in the home buying process, (especially for first timers), which is really stressful in the first place. Thanks VU! :)
