  The only issue I have is the long lines on the weekends which cant really be avoided. But that's only cause so many people bank on the weekends ( if your upset about the lines try to bank during the week then ). Staff is always friendly and helpful, and will usually have an answer for any questions I may have. I've only had one hold on a deposit, which is understandable for the amount it was. Keep up the good work.

  All the cashiers are very friendly, fast, and efficient. Very seldom do I have to wait in line for a long period of time. They are very fast yet accurate.

  Veridian is not credit union you want to do business with, especially keeping your money in there bank. There system is setup to rip you off. They will take your hard earn money from you. They put holds on money, which you only did one transaction. But will hold your money twice with same transaction number. Instead of two different transaction number. I have call Veridian to release that pending transaction on my money. The has two pending transactions holds with same transaction number. I also call business I paid my bill. I was told after checking there system to have only one receipt number for only one transaction number of me paying. Neg 5 on rating....

When talking about held funds it is unclear if you are talking about merchant holds (paying as credit with your debit card) or on a deposit. If it is regarding merchant holds, we unfortunately don't have any control over other businesses where you use your card.   I never had came to this location before but this time it was convenient for the area I was in. When I arrived I had seen a line of 10 people waiting, assuming it would take a great while to get helped. I waited for approximately 2 minutes to get to the counter. Then only a minute or two before I saw a loan officer. This location is crazy fast! I have never seen people get moved through so fast before especially at a bank. Normally that would have taken a good half hour to an hour going to any other branch but I was in and out with all 3 of my issues fixed within 15 min!!!

  Usually have no issues but my security pin is different from all other pins without it you're out of luck at Veridian. Couldn't take my social birth date or couldn't ask me my security questions. This is the location I was routed to call.

If you are unsure of your security code, you can stop by one of our open branches with your photo ID and they can provide this number to you and you have the option to change the number in person as well.   We drove halfway across Des Moines to go to this bank to open an new account. This is the only Veridian open after 5pm during the week. In such a large town I’m surprised that we do not have another one open. After waiting 10 mins in line. Then into 20 minutes of waiting to meet with someone to open an additional account; I was told it’s going to be an additional 40 min wait to get an account open. I already have a Veridian account and just needed to join one account. I do not understand how they could not tell us before we waited 20 minutes in line that it would be an hour wait. This should not be that difficult of a process. Another bank should be open past 7pm, the process is clearly inefficient and should be refined. I for one waisted two hours of my night and am disappointed in the service.

  Veridian credit is one of the worst banks they don’t care about you, your time, or your money. I went out of town and I told them I would be. I was using my card and they took way too much money out of my account and it was in the red but when I called them they said my account was never in the red and there is nothing they can do. And the call center was no help at all after being on the phone for 85 minutes.

  When people are are standing in line for 30-35 mins. And you have someone cut in front of everyone then you hear the teller tell the girl normally he would make you go to the back of line but he wont make her today. And there are clearly upset customers and your teller says lets go in her so there no confrontation. We waited in line she needs to wait in line. This needs to be addressed!!! Today was ridiculous.

  Amazing staff, Amazing organization. I have had an account since a kid in the 80's when it was still John Deere Credit Union, and I had my Kirby Account. I am a former Wells Fargo employee, and I would never ever bank with a big bank again. Credit Union all the way, and Veridian is Top Notch, 100% of the time.
