  Been looking for a good reliable guitar for a while now. I called Van Nuys Pawnshop and they took the time to let me know what guitars they had in the shop.   Not a real pawn shop. They don't accept a variety of items, or electronics, presumably because they don't actually know how to evaluate them. This makes them not a real pawn shop, as any real pawn shop would be procedurally equipped to evaluate any possible item. Also, considering I was told, "We don't take Televisions older than 2016 models..." What do you do about people getting rid of CRT TVs then? Why do you sell televisions in your store that are older than 2016? Where are you getting your stock of televisions from in the first place? The black market, maybe? Buyer beware. Go somewhere else. Cheers.

  Went to pawn 2 watches and they didn't even appraise them. Highest level of technology they use is eBay to see if they are real or not. Very unprofessional for a pawn shop.
