  Valerie has been our go-to for multiple home purchases and we could not be happier with the outcome of each time. From the excellent rates to the outstanding service that we received on both purchases, I would recommend her to anyone in South Carolina. She has taken us through the loan process in the Upstate as well as in the Charleston area flawlessly.   Highly recommend! When shopping for a mortgage we contacted several lenders, including our builder's preferred lender. After negotiating with multiple parties, we chose to work with Valerie because it was clear that she was the most knowledgeable, responsive, and trustworthy. Valerie's rate/closing costs were very competitive even against the builder's preferred lender + incentives. In the end we gave Valerie & Upstate Mortgage our business to have peace of mind during the closing process. Thanks for your hard work and flexibility, Valerie!

  Y’ALL! Valerie and her team are absolutely amazing. I bought my first home and (based on some research and realtor suggestion) I decided to go with Upstate Mortgage to find the best option for me. I was surprised how easy their team made the entire process. It was truly effortless on my part. They were patient and understanding of my work schedule. I cannot thank them enough! They respond quickly, were extremely efficient and happy to answer all of my “silly” questions; reassuring me that my questions were valid. Even after closing, they were happy to answer my questions.   Unprofessional and rude to my girl I told them that she is allowed to have access to the files like I should have control over that but the realtor lazy and so careless and never called me and never sent me my pre approval so ratchet pls I’m warning you before you let them pull ur credit they are the WORST

  We were called by someone other than Trenton who we told repeatedly over a week span that by law we must talk to the borrower to be able to speak with her since she was not on the loan. This is for the privacy and safety of all of our customers. We never received that.
