  We had the mortgage for our new home handled by Stephan Schnaiter. He did an amazing job navigating us through our application when things became more challenging because of construction delays. He gave us good advice on when to lock rates and what to do when the house delivery ran late and he handled all the negotiation for that with the mortgage company. Stephan was very friendly, professional and reliable. All other communication with Hanover Mortgage was also a great experience.

  I have been a Realtor since 2006 and Hanover Mortgage won my heart back then and has managed to keep it in this wild world. I still work with other lenders but nothing ever measures up to Hanover. Stephan Schnaiter is truly a lender that I have trusted with ALL of my personal loans, my family's loans and a majority of my real estate clients over the years. There are a ton of lenders in this market but I can assure you that they are not all created equal. I know that I am getting what I pay for with Stephan at Hanover.   Doesn’t answer calls, never sent any paperwork, missed deadlines had to go to a different mortgage company. Made me missed the COVID rates. Absolutely unprofessional.

  Words cannot express how grateful my family and I are for the services of Hanover Mortgage! We shopped the local banks first and not one could come even close to the level of products, experience, and can-do attitude that they had to offer. Special thanks to president Colin Philbrick and his breadth of knowledge along with our upbeat, patient, and kind loan officer Melissa Hennon. Throughout the process of two mortgage loans over the last two years, Hanover was an excellent partner as we navigated through many different aspects of the home buying and refinance process. For our first loan, Melissa went the extra mile helping out our custom home builder with miles of paperwork and helping to make sure we were meeting our milestones. Colin went to bat for us making sure our lender kept things moving along. We were even provided free notary services when our lender unexpectedly and unsolicited offered us a loan modification at a better interest rate some months after we closed – all with no extra cost to us. They have experience in dealing with income from alternative sources like, rental and foster care. Their experience came in very handy when we were met with a low appraisal as well. Using one of their great recommended attorneys, just today our brand new 3% rate mortgage refinance was recorded. The deal is done – in spite of some last second foolishness on our part! We are so thankful they helped us with our goals. We are now able to move forward in confidence with “extra breathing room” for doing that which we are called to do. Go with Hanover.
