Set up a new account and went to pay off my credit card. Even though the app showed my new account and I have screen shots showing it was coming out of the new account. They charged my old account twice and my new account once. They refuse to pay the overdraft fees.

Extremely upset with this branch. I went to deposit a check, and the teller stated she could not cash it , because it was more than my available balance. The Teller proceeded to tell me she could deposit the check and it will be in the account by the next morning. Well next day I check online and it states that the deposit is on hold until 12/29/21. I was livid as this money was to help pay for my mothers final expenses this week. Called customer service and they were of no help and she said I would receive a call from one of her supervisors regarding the issue, I have yet to hear from anyone. I tried four times calling the BOA branch on Haywood Rd, and no one answers. I will be ending my 17 year banking relationship with this bank.

There were two young ladies that helped me change phone number on the website because its now updated and I had lost all info but they were awesome and even though it was only about 3 min after closing...they didn't have to help however were SO friendly and helpful! Thank you two(I'm just gonna call you miss red and miss brunette at moment). I hope you have a great weekend and bless you both! This customer service is why I've been banking with BOA since 2013!

      Response from the owner

Recently started my BUSINESS account here. Not HAPPY at all. Just made a substantial deposit and wanted to UNDERSTAND something about a CHECK I was cashing. The TELLER got AGGRESSIVE with me telling me I can’t CASH check anywhere in my BUSINESS name. I told her I could she have SOMEONE explain my account to me, as she got more aggressive, it seemed she was getting the guards attention. Then told me to take a seat. The customer service here is just not what I was thinking opening my first business account. A few weeks ago, they set me an appointment to have my wife sign for the account. They insisted it wouldn’t be long, and we would walk straight in. She waited 45 min and still wasn’t seen. I wouldn’t recommend this bank, especially for minorities. You don’t feel apart of there branch.

I have been a long time BofA customer and frustrated by the lack of personal touch the bank has moved towards. I had an issue today and went in and had a great experience with Adriana Perez...she was outstanding and solved my issue even though it took a long time to get through to HQ. She was patient ans helpful the whole time. I appreciate her putting a human touch on a bank that has become so automated that it's hard to get anything done when something goes wrong!

Never answer their phones. Moves very slow. No type of customer service skills. I would stand at the counter when dropping off a deposit and the teller would only ask what I need and that's it. I'm not asking you to be my best friend just communicate and have some type of personality this is the 3rd time this has happened. I rather drop my deposits in the drop box before walking in. The drop box have more respect then the tellers there. There is only 1 person that has a great personality and make sure everyone is greeted with a smile. I don't know her name but she is a African America lady and she always dresses really nice. The other staff should take some lessons !

I just want to say that the financial center operations manager Laura Lamb helped me straighten out a problem that took over an hour and even through her lunch break she never not once seemed frustrated with us or the situation. It's hard to find this level of care in a bank these days. Please give this young lady a raise! Account holder of 5 + years.

Tried calling the bank twice. No answer and the automation hangs up on me. I have serious question about my charge card. And if I go to the branch in person, they lasso you into an office and try to selll you services. This is so unacceptable.

Terrible Service!!! I waited in the drive thru for 30 minutes today and had to leave! I will have to return another day but I do not want to. The lobby was 'temporarily closed' so that was not an option. The branch manager at this location should be fired.

      Response from the owner

New to the area and just sold my vehicle to a dealership, they bank with Bank of America. I went it to cash the check at 911 Haywood road and they refused to cash it because.......first, I didn’t have an account with BofA and second, it was too much? Instead of taking a solution based approach to solve the issue and gain a “new customer” the person in charge wanted to hand me the check back and said, “sorry we can’t do it”......period end of story....I think not..... I was not going to let this person who obviously has less creativity and sales ablilty than the average 5th grader off the hook.....okay maybe that’s too much but I felt like my business wasn’t welcomed or my concern wasn’t important enough to be bothered with. So I asked if I open an account with you can I cash it then..........? She wasn’t sure...I’m so glad she allowed another bank officers to help me....Adriana really lived out her job title of “Relationship manager” Adriana listened, offered some solutions, and did it with a genuine smile! My suggestion is that BofA help align this persons giftings to a position better suited. Other suggestions are: customer service training, strength assessment training/evaluation and/or possibly EQ testing to test her awareness of others need. At the end of the day Adriana saved the day and deserves the praise! I’m sorry if this offends, that is not my heart, I just want to raise awareness and report on my experience with the branch located at Haywood road.
