  I love universal jewelry and loan.... I forgot and missed my maturity date and was afraid my items was put back and gone forever... but the wonderful guys at universal jewelry and loan saved the day and gave me good news... they worked with me and I was able to keep my items

  If there was an award for best pawn shop this place would take it hands down they have a great selection of stuff and they are great people I took my laptop here and they gave me more than I asked for it that's unheard of I will densely be back again! This is the only pawn shop I'll ever be doing business with again!

  Comes off nice but not what glitters is Gold.. Was working there and missed a day after my Grandmother died. The little respect they Won't respond back to you. Disgusting mentality no respect for your family, but wants you at Work.

  Thank you for your review and now that we know of your loss, our condolences to you and your family. However, respectively, here's what happened from our perspective.You worked one day for 5 hours. you were scheduled to come in at 9am the next morning for your 2nd day. You never came in, never left a voicemail, never emailed us, never called (until approximately 4pm). That is not proper business etiquette, especially on your 2nd trial day, leaving us high and dry, wondering where you were all day, wondering if your going to come in or not. You should have called or emailed us as soon as you knew you couldn't make it in (not 8 hours later) & We would have understood. We really liked having you here, but cannot work with people who fail to communicate. Thank you

  Stopped in today and was so happy just to talk with an employee who was very patient and resourceful when it came to becoming familiar with the item i brought in. I would definitely recommend these guys !!

  I purchased a series of items from this pawn shop for which I had appraised later was told a cross was a half carat really was 1/4 carat I was told the ring that I purchased had a 20 pointer Stone inside of it when it really had nothing more than an eight pointer I spent more than $400 . I got taken

  Hello Dela, We do not recall selling these items, as we were closed for nearly 3 months for covid. Are you sure they came from us? You may have us mixed up with another local jewelry shop. Please send me a photo of the receipt. If you are right about this situation, we will gladly refund your money, as we are known to be extremely honest here, and will not lie to customers to make a buck. Thank you. -Mike
