  My wife got a tax credit check yesterday and instead of paying Walmart $8 to cash it I ask my bank Umpqua in CDA Idaho if she could sign her check over to me and deposit it , she simply said no . Weird??? I did this last month ?? She was very rude to us and I bank there !! She said I don’t have the $ in my account to cover it if it’s ... then she paused ?? Fake ? A government check ! What nerve !! I’m out !

  We were looking for a lender and we were referred to someone from this bank. The guy spent 45 minutes on the phone with me on the initial call. He told me to fill out the application and then let him know when it was done. So, I called and let him know it was done. 9 days went by and our application had not been processed and our credit had not been run. I called him and the connection was bad so call was lost. So I emailed him. He never called back. 4 days went by and first thing on a Friday morning I called and talked to his manager. I told the manager I hadn't heard from him in 9 days and I'd really like to get things going. So dude finally called me back and he said he was going to look at his schedule and call me back with an appointment time. He never called me back that Friday. So, I called him at 10am Monday morning and he didnt answer. I left a voicemail. My mom called 3 hours later from her Florida number and he answered her call!!!! If I could give 0 stars I would. We called the bank and told them we are very unsatisfied with their customer service and the lady basically shrugged us off. Bad service. Dont go here.

  Umpqua bank was nothing but rude and condescending, and some woman working there had the nerve to say that you cannot remove the overdraft option from the account, and “if you don’t want the issue maybe don’t spend everything”... wow. On the website it says you absolutely CAN and even gives a number to call. How ridiculous and pathetic. Get new employees. We are cancelling our account, what a joke.

  First and last encounter with this bank! Horrible service, unfriendly staff. Never again folks! With so many business banking choices you’d think they try a bit.
