Truist Reviews

Jenny Trieu1Came in, wait in line for over 5 minutes. 2 people were in their office. 3 people were at the register. Nobody greeted me and asked what I needed for. And I was the only customer who was there. So I left without getting what I needed to be done.

Ron/Karen Hoge1Wish I could give zero stars-- one star is generous!! I WASTED 45 MINUTES HERE TODAY TO CLOSE ONE ACCOUNT AND TO GET THE MEAGER $25 THAT WAS IN THE ACCOUNT!!! At one point, we had 3 accounts here: checking, savings, and a Line of Credit-- All secondary accounts for us. We closed our savings a year ago. Recently we closed our line of credit due to refinancing our mortgage. (BTW, they charged me a $50 fee to close this account!?) We only kept the checking account because of the Line of Credit-- so we no longer needed it. I only had a minimal amount: $25, in this account! I called the manager and asked if I even needed to come into the bank or if I could close it over the phone or at the drive through. She said that drive through was fine. They had me pull into the closed lane for the teller. The teller said that the manager was with another person. At one point the manager came over and said she wouldn't be long but that she was still with that same customer. Thinking it would take me a couple of minutes, I had my car running for a bit until the "engine coolant overheating" light came on. Eventually, she returned, gave me a withdrawal slip to sign in 2 places, and she gave me my $25, closing my account. A process that took 3 minutes should NOT have wasted MY 45 minutes!! If I would have known, they could have kept the $25!!!! Clearly, customer service is NOT this branch's forte! Terrible experience! We will never return to a Sun Trust Bank.

Dymond Harrod1So i got here at 4. There were two cars in front of me and 3 cars behind me. At 4:25, the same car that was first was still being helped. The car in front of me and all the cars behind Left the line. I called the branch to see what the hold up is and the lady says that they are short staffed. The drive thru always takes a long time. I only go here because it’s the closest to my house. But this is disappointing and frustrating.

Angel Angel1Did not have a good experience. The Spanish lady from the start had an attitude. I needed to close my mom account so she looked at the poa stating it's not prominent and that I needed to bring the original. That is fine. I think because I came a little after 11 near them closing resulted in the attitude.

Kevin Hashimoto1Went in there last week with a question and was told to take a seat. Another customer came in and sat next to me.....we were both told the manager was going to take a meeting. Clearly it was a production meeting because they were talking numbers which we could overhear. That's fine and part of business. I understand. It went on for over 30 mins and the other customer left before me and he was clearly frustrated. I couldn't stick around either so I left my card with the teller asking them to contact me. I've received no call at this point which is my reason for 1 star. You were busy that day....that's fine. But no call after I sat and waited for you with my cell phone, work number, and email on there. That's not impressive. I'm not a negative person and I don't think I've ever written a 1 star review before.

Shannon Cooley2Update: left from waiting for 10 min in drive-by!! Dropped a star. SunTrust, check in those workers especially in that lounge room which they seems to spent most of time there. ——— On-site service options are excellent but sadly, not enforced. It’s extremely slow, even if the line is light. Approximately 15-25 min waiting. Tellers often aren’t available, 3-4 hiding in other room while only one teller dealing with line, light or heavy. Online experience shamelessly exceeds the quality within service of full-service bank. Waiting for notary service for half hour and counting! Seriously considering waking out. The representative, Linda prioritizes her work, basically ignoring me. Sun rays are dangerously weak here. What’s worse - this feedback will be easily ignored.

Nuri Seo1Never get anything done at this place. Never had a bad experience with suntrust before until I walked into this branch. I was waiting to get my form notarized for 30 minutes sitting in the waiting area. There is no sign in sheet and someone just walked up to me and told me to wait for the manager Steven. After 30 minutes, the manager shows up and helps out another customer who walked in after I did. So frustrating. I told the manager that I came first but he didnt care cause he knew the person who walked in after I did. Then, teller walks up to me and asks if I would like to come back tomorrow morning for a notary. This place is horrible so I would only come if you have nothing to do and want to waste your time. Would not recommend getting anything done here especially with the manager. Drive to another suntrust branch if possible.

Dennis Thompson1Had a problem with my debit card and was told to call my local branch. I called this place 6 times all day today and left the Branch Manager "Carlos" 3 voicemails. Never got a call back. I know they aren't busy. Every time I've been there, the tellers are texting on their phones or sitting there falling asleep. Now I have to drive all the way to the branch just so I can get a problem resolved that I could have resolved by a simple phone call. This branch sucks, it really gives SunTrust a bad name.

Daisy Castillo1Teller told me I had to have an account with them in order to exchange $27 in coins for bills. The coins were in rolls that I was told they were free from this location in an visit earlier this week. I was on the fence about opening an account with them before considering it’s walking distance from my house and all my children are interested in money. After this encounter now im certain I won’t be doing business with a bank that conducts like this. Having an account does not add or take away value to any form of United States currency.
