  Alexcandra of Farnam Group was incredible. I was unsure about this move (as it is my first time leaving New York) but Alexcandra was so thoughtful and offered a whole entire list of options tailored to my needs. She even thought about other kinds of places that would accommodate my travel time and eating options. Her response time and detailed messages (on the weekend and late-nights!) was unparalleled. She thought outside of the box and, overall, made me feel a lot more comfortable about my move to New Haven. Now, more than ever, we need representatives and agents who can attend to the complexities of all peoples. As a queer person of color, not all spaces are safe but Alexcandra gracefully arranged a walk through of places I knew could be home.

  Thayer Smith is our realtor and he is very professional, knowledgeable, helpful, and kind. I inquired about a property and he got back to me in a very timely matter. He asked me good questions that could make finding other comparable housing possible. When we met up at the property he didn’t make us feel rushed and was able to answer all of our questions. Overall we had a great experience with Thayer and feel like he helped us find our new home, as we are filling out the appropriate information to move forward. Five stars all the way!!

  Had the best experience finding an apartment!! Walked through every step of the process and were very attentive. Alex Bacry was my agent and she was so sweet and efficient it made a normally stressful process very easy. So thankful to have found this group!!

  I am a Statewide Housing Program Coordinator with the State of Connecticut Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services and have been working with Farnam Realty Group and Peter DiGangi in particular for the past 9 years. In my position, I am responsible for locating and securing housing for clients with mental and physical disabilities. Peter and the Farnam Realty Group have gone above and beyond all expectations in assisting us with this difficult task.   Working with Farnam was a good experience. Alyson helped me find an awesome house in Westville for my family. She was so nice and helped with all the voucher paperwork. Highly recommended.

  I honestly could not imagine a better experience securing a New Haven apartment than we had with Farnam Realty, and with Peter DiGangi in particular. Peter made the whole process exceptionally easy and was extremely knowledgable about the property and the other occupants. More than that, when we went to the office to sign the paperwork, Peter--unbidden by us--kindly offered our five-year-old a scooter to ride, gave him markers and a manilla envelope, and even invited him to draw on the whiteboard walls. The whole transaction felt friendly, professional, and uncomplicated. I could not recommend Farnam highly enough.

  I used to live in a unit managed by Farnam and had to talk to Lia and Carol multiple times about various issues ranging from utilities, lease renewal, and security deposit. To me, both of them had been the kind of people you could really talk to to resolve issues. I got an impression that they weren't just seeking for profits from tenants. They--especially Lia--tried to see the issue from the tenant's side and always tried to come up with a solution that worked for the tenants.

  I emailed the group to file a complaint but I want to warn others of this horrible Realty Group! I scheduled a showing with the agent Peter on March 12 for April 1st at one PM . I explained during our initial conversation that I would be commuting 2 hours. When I arrived the day of to New Haven, I initiated contact with Peter an hour before to inform him of my arrival and that I would be on time for our appointment. He responded that he was just looking for my number and that the unit had just been rented the night before. After expressing my concerns about how unprofessional this was. He informed me that he "couldn’t help the timing" and that this was the “New Haven market way”. My Bf and I both lost a full day of work and drove 4 hours just to be informed that they received the money for the apartment on a Sunday and I only received notice after I texted the agent. Do not schedule a showing with these agents!!

  Erica is the Best! Her and her team made the experience of buying my first home from out of state a seamless experience. From pre-approval to closing, Great communication and Excellent support through out the process and even followed up after the purchase to make sure I had received all of the documents.   Neil Currie with Farnam represented me as I searched for potential investment properties in New Haven--SFR and MFR with fix and flip/rent potential. He was aggressive and proactive in guiding my search to relevant prospects, all while understanding well ROI based decision making. To that end, Neil kept me from overpaying, and steered me clear of a few deals that, in hindsight would have been less than stellar. I often felt that he put my investment interests above any temptation on his part to make a quick sale. He brings a level of sophistication to the process that far exceeds experiences I have had with other brokerages in the area.
