Maria Melchor1A banker at this branch named Thomas Colville may be participating in discrimination based on race and national origin. My mother, an existing Chase customer, was scheduled to meet with banker Thomas Colville to open a second account with Chase. He was already late to her appointment by 15 minutes and when he finally walked up to get her, he glanced at her and turned back around and made her wait another 10 minutes. Then, Thomas Colville assumed her race and national origin based on her appearance and insisted that she needed the original copy of her green card in order to proceed with opening a second Chase account. To be clear: Chase does not require the original copy of this document in order for an *existing customer* to open a second account. My mother was willing to comply with this inappropriate request and grab her green card but Thomas Colville said he could not wait for her and declined to reschedule her appointment. He seemed set on not helping her open the account. I hope this branch holds Thomas Colville accountable for his discriminatory behavior so that future customers are not illegally deterred from accessing Chase banking based on their race or national origin. I will also be contacting Chase headquarters about this discriminatory treatment so that future customers do not face similar treatment. As my mom's daughter and as an existing Chase customer, I am saddened and disappointed by Thomas Colville's actions.

Benklin Hiraldo1The staff. who works here when there are 30 minutes left to close they say that there is no system on two occasions they have done it...and they receive you as if it were a warehouse looking for bread

Howard Smith1Lazy tellers not helpful at all. For 5 years banking at Chase all the other branchs insist that I add up and itemize all my cashier's checks (withdrawals) on one slip which makes more sense for customer convenience also. All of a sudden they changed up today at this Church Street New Haven location insisting I make out separate withdrawal slips for each transaction which I started to. After stepping aside a minute to do this the teller took a break and I had to make it to work in 20 minutes almost making me late. The next day I banked at the Orange location which was a far more seamless experience especially not having to pay for parking in New Haven...

Q5Rodney is simply the best banker I have ever met. He is compassionate, patient, and genuinely care about your problems. He helped me fix my credit card and debt card problems in an efficient manner without rushing me through the process. Highly recommend!!

jeraly1i was being scammed by a fraudulent company making themselves out to be comcast corporations, they took all my money and left me in debt, chase did nothing but tell me to pay the money back. not even any advice on what to do next or where to go. never banking with them again.

Martina Lind5Great service and very helpful in many ways. Asst VP, Rodney P, sat with me a long time to go over many options for my accounts and never made me rush through my decisions. He even stayed late past office hours to help complete a transaction that I had trouble doing on my own.

Raul Vasquez1well, went there to open a business account, i already have a restaurant and about to open another company i was trying to give different bank the opportunity to work with, but i got there 30 minutes before closing hoping to get the business account open a make a deposit they told to come back tomorrow because they need more than 1 hour to open a business account ? Seriously i wen to peoples bank to open my first business less than 30 minutes i was done! And as a business man if i have customer coming with money 5 minutes before closing i wont tell my customer come back tomorrow we don't have the time right now.I guess who ever opens account there couldn't stay 15 more minutes to do the job he is suppose to do at the bank. Very disappointment.
