Justin De La Garza1It’s Friday during peak hours lobby is closed and only 1 person working the drive thru apparently!! People are sitting outside their cars waiting because this is taking so long. Ridiculous man! Come on. People don’t have time to wait 45 minutes in a bank drive thru 🤦🏻😑 In response to TDECU’s comment: NO the lobby is not open, doors are LOCKED and there is a sign up that says the lobby is closed. Sooo???

Emily Martinez2I’ve been with TDECU since my teen years when I began working.. I’ve always had a good experience with them until I moved to Texas City and the built the small branch by the big Buccee’s when it’s slow and your the only person there service is great and quick… but any other time it’s horrible!! The service is so slow.. you have only one person handling the 3 drive thru lanes and anybody in the lobby. This is so inconvenient.. you’ll be waiting way more than 30 min to an hr. They need to need a specific drive thru and lobby employee bc the wait time is horrible.

Jesse Gauff1The absolute worst experience I've ever had with a bank, my wife has had this bank for a long time, I was with Bank of America, I thought maybe a local bank would have better customer service. Absolutely the worst service ever!, first there's no number to the local bank you have to go through customer service then get transferred to the local bank. They won't let you speak to a manager. The person Emily Barrera who we originally spoke to was supposed to do something which she has not done and will not return phone calls and or emails. They transferred me to the loan department and they said they can't even do what she said she was going to do. I am this close to canceling all my accounts with this Bank. And another thing on Saturday they had one person running the entire Bank, doing the front teller service as well as the drive-thru service. Too cheap to hire more personnel!

Dustin C1I applied for a simple checking and savings account online and followed all of the directions to scan my DL and submit the application. I had to resubmit my DL 3 times before I called and someone told me that they could not accept a scanned DL it had to be a picture taken with a phone. I waited another week while the only info I received if I logged on to my account was that it was pending approval. I finally called and was passed around and spent nearly an hour on the phone. I was then told that my Texas Drivers license was not a verification of address and I would have to submit a utility bill. NOWHERE during the application nor email correspondence was this mentioned. After 3 weeks of playing run a round I took my initial deposit back because if they can't get it straight with a simple checking and savings account, they definitely can't be trusted with the rest of my money. 1. If you need a document in a specific format, list it on the website or at least in that section of the application. 2. I have never had to take anything other than DL and SS card to apply for an account. If you have a special requirement communicate it. 3. If there is a problem with an application communicate what it is and don't leave the customer waiting in "pending approval" status.

Stefanie Pope1This bank has seriously made my mind up to switching banks! My husband and I, went to this location to make a deposit since it was by my drs office. My husband went to make the deposit from a major university into our business account. The teller which is #1083 said it would be a 2 day hold, I’m totally fine with that, but my husband said why is that when we’ve had WAY bigger checks from that university. The teller #1083 started talking to my husband very slow like he didn’t understand! That was so disrespectful! Instead of that teller being more professional! She talked to my husband like he was slow! That did not go well with me at all! If this branch has video of their tellers, please pull the video and watch teller #1083 and how she talked to my husband! I’m furious over this and I’m waiting on the regional manager to call me. Thank you teller #1083 for making my mind up on switching banks!

Danny Nguyen1DIANA SCHLEAGETER IS THE WORST! She made my visit very unwelcoming, she is unprofessional, rude and wasn't helpful at all. She did not provide me with professional customer service at all and made my visit unpleasant. She did not help me with my situation at all and and gave me false information about my case that costed me hundreds of dollars. She never picked up the phone so I was forced to drive +30 minutes to the bank just to have her tell me there was no update on my situation, but whenever I called the Lake Jackson Branch they told me otherwise. I went into the bank and witnessed her blatantly ignore my many phone calls and just let the phone go to voicemail, I left many voicemails and never got a call back from her or anybody at this branch. She basically didn't want to help with my case at all and avoided me at all cost. She is a bad representation of the bank and needs to be let go. Going through the reviews on google, majority of them are all about her being unprofessional and unhelp. I don't know how she still has a job there but she needs to be let go ASAP. After this experience I am switching banks ASAP and do not recommended anybody to this bank ever.

Danny Hyde1Website and mobile app are not user friendly. Received mail outs for months asking to takeout a loan. Finally found a reason to and asked for one. After not hearing back for several days I gave them a call to be told I wasn't approved. I'm not sure what it takes to get a 25k loan for a new travel trailer from them but you apparently need more than 100k a year in income and 745 credit score. I will promptly be closing my accounts with t.d.e.c.u. they say they are about members but I don't think they are. Your best to look elsewhere for a financial institution..... *Update* now to add to the fun they wont even give me an appointment to come pay off a vehicle lien so i can sell the vehicle and close my account. so i will be paying more interest and may even loose the sale of the vehicle. Defiantly go somewhere else
