  My Father banked here for 40 plus years. He took those ladies in there sweet potatoes and was very nice to them. Whenever he had a stroke, and we had to get him on Medicare, you would have thought we were up there to rob the bank. They were so cold and suspicious and treated us very unkindly. I was POA for my Dad and I gave them the papers to prove it. When I went up twice to draw out money for my Mother (she had Covid) they wouldn’t let me. He passed away before Christmas and my Mother and I just closed the account and we are so glad we do not have to deal with them anymore.

  Really wanted to give 5 stars because the Hickory branch is so nice. I switched to this credit union because they offer bill pay and my previous bank does not. This is also the bank my employer uses. Only thing I don't like is that my DD paycheck pending for 2 days and I can't access funds until Friday. I was previously getting paid Thursdays. Other than that it seems great so far. Look forward to refinancing my vehicle soon with them.

  Great and professional staff! Sharron, Patrick and crew have been our go to’s for a long time. They are always friendly professional and knowledgeable about all the aspects of banking. If you are a member and need anything they can do it!

  I don't have very many issues with this place but my two are that there needs to be some sort of 24hour help line and I don't prefer having to wait till Monday for a check to go into my account because I'm paid mostly on Fridays but other than that the staff are really nice and I've had no other issues 👍

  Dealt with Katy in the branch and Christy W. in Greensboro. They helped my family get refinanced and got us a new auto loan we needed. Customer service is so great here that I closed my accounts at another institution to come here. They have a great app as well. Will not leave

  Very friendly staff will go the extra distance to make sure you are taken care of. On one occasion I was having difficulties setting up their app on my phone, one of the tellers noticed I was struggling with it and offered to help, and she had my issues resolved in only a couple of minutes time.

  Lied to about loan. Told only way to get loan was swap from my joint account to my own account and resetup direct deposit. Waste of time

  The customer service is exceptional...at least in Hickory! They are always willing to take the extra time to help.
