Debra Maxwell5Mike Grissom my sales guy, Julio the finance guy I'm sorry I don't remember the sales manager's name we're all very gracious and helpful to me. I told myself when I retired I was buying a Subaru, probably an Outback or Forester. 10 years ago I was in there looking but I bought elsewhere. So I came back to look as I was setting up for retirement. I came back and forth comparing cars comparing dealers. Ultimately I came back and made the deal here because the guys were great not pushy or anything but there when I needed them answered my questions showed me what I needed to see and all it all just took care of me and made me comfortable. So thank you to the guys at Mastro's Subaru Tampa and I'll see some of you in a few weeks when I come in for my love encore. PS one day and I absolutely love my Subaru Ascent.

Paula Booth5Called this at 9:00 am to have headlights look at. Asked if I could come right in. Dropped car off, they gave me a ride to work and by 11:30 am all was done!! Great service snd friendly staff.

Rebecca Anderson5I knew I wanted a Subaru, but wasn't sure which vehicle I wanted. Luis was my sales associate, and he did such a fantastic job of showing me the differences in all of them. I test drove 4 different vehicles; it started raining, and we kept on driving! I was asking a lot of questions, and Luis was very patient and let me take as much time as I needed. The vehicles handled so well; I felt safe and in control at all times.. I chose the Legacy, it had everything I could ask for. The paperwork went quickly, and I left with my new baby! The dealership was very warm and friendly; not once did I feel pressured or bothered. Plus, I really liked the Starbucks vending machine. I'm glad I chose Mastro Subaru; I liked the hometown-family feeling. Thanks for a wonderful afternoon!

Kevin Billings5Mastro is the best! I traveled four hours to Mastro to pick up my car and it was well worth it. I spoke with Tracy over the phone numerous times before making the drive over there. Before I made the drive, I spoke with Tracy and we agreed upon a price for the vehicle. We probably spoke two hundred times over the course of two months and she was happy to speak to me every time answering all my concerns and making me feel comfortable that I would be well taken care of. The day came and I rented a car to drive the four hours. The entire time I was concerned that I would be in a difficult place when I got there as I only rented a one way vehicle to get me there and they knew I would NEED a car to drive home. When I arrived, I was greeted outside and a warm smile helped get the process started right. Throughout the process, I triple checked every number looking for when they were going to smuggle in the hidden $20 or $100 fees. I was pleased to find that at the end of all the paperwork, the price was EXACTLY what Tracy said it would be from the very start. I would HIGHLY recommend that everyone give them a chance as they have done a great job to satisfy me and I would make the drive back there without hesitation to buy another Subaru there... and that says a lot since there is a Subaru dealership about 10 minutes away from where I live.

Sean really goes above & beyond no matter what you're there for, Andy makes picking out a new car a breeze, and the service dept always does a thorough job whether it's routine maintenance or a problem visit. We live much closer to another Subaru dealer but we choose to drive to Mastro because of the great relationship this dealership makes the effort to build with their customers.

Tim Acosta4The other day when I took my wife's Outback in for it's 30000k service I ran into a less than enthusiastic service rep. After I handed him the keys he said it would be ready in around an hour. I don't know how you can buzz through a tire rotation, oil change and cabin filter change and 39 point inspection all in 40 minutes, but that's how long it took. What really bothered me was when I walked in, ok the rep, after he finally acknowledged that I was standing at his counter ask if I had an appointment. The last 4 visits they told me I didn't need an appointment... This really rubbed me the wrong way. He took the car in anyway. After all of this I got my car back with no floor mat protectors and the person who drove it out left a foul body stench that was so bad I had to drive with the window down until it started raining. The whole experience was just unsatisfactory. I could be wrong but if you value your customers and Subaru buyers they should be treated a whole lot better than this or they will go elsewhere. Update to the past review. My experience with Mastro service department was not that great before but after speaking with (Will) the service manager, he went out of his way to make sure that everything was taken care of. To me that was showing that as a customer their priorty was seeing that I was taken care of. Will, explained everything over the phone and made every effort possible to take care of my concerns. Mastro has changed my opinion and concerns as a Subaru owner. We all have bad days so I'm upgrading my last review to reflect.

Robert Lathrop5Great experience! Went in to test drive a car, let the salesperson know I wasn’t buying today and he totally respected it. No sales pressure, not even a sit down. I didn’t even have to share my phone number. The ride was nice, got to test everything I wanted, including a hard brake test. I totally forgot to get my salesperson’s name, but I will make sure to use them if I decide to go with the Subaru.

J5Simply a superior dealer! They say what they do and do what they say. I'll admit I'm skeptical of most car dealers after multiple bad experiences, broken promises, changing numbers, etc. Mastro did NONE of the typical car dealer games and never did any high pressure sales tatics - we're very happy to finally found a great dealer we can TRUST. Andy in sales was patient, kept things simple, knows his product inside and out, and was a pleasure to deal with. Julio in finance was honest and the best finance person I've ever dealt with. This dealership is that good!! We're literally customers for life.
